This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, support our work at Chiapas Education Project and find meaningful holiday gifts in our online auction! 🫶🏿🫶🏾🫶🏽🌻🫶🫶🏻🫶🏼

Since 2023, we have donated over 400 refurbished computers to Communities in Chiapas, Mexico; Cuba; South Dakota; Palestine; Guatemala; Honduras; and the Pacific Northwest. We also sponsor internet for four schools in Arriaga, Chiapas.

We’ve shipped over 4,000 pounds of lightly used items to Chiapas, using donated clothing to protect electronics before distributing both to our Communities, reducing waste in Washington State.

Your support helps cover the $4 per pound cost of shipping refurbished electronics and donated clothing to Chiapas, along with computer parts and internet access for four schools in Arriaga, Chiapas.

Here in Washington State, it also helps us provide refurbished computers to relatives facing financial barriers.

Your support also helps us create spaces in Washington State for Indigenous traditions and Ceremonies from Mexico and south of the border, where those of us thousands of miles from home can gather and pray in our own ways. This includes next year’s “Immigrant” Justice Prayer Walk.

Join us November 7th from 12:30-3:30 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Seattle. Come share a meal and help our work grow!

Thank you to @350seattle and everyone who came out to yesterday’s art build! Your time, creativity, and care helped bring our Altar to life in memory of those who died crossing the border and never made it home. Our Altar will be displayed at El Centro de la Raza from November 1–30. 🕯️🫶🏾

Alongside our work expanding access to technology and education, Chiapas Education Project helps create spaces here in Seattle where those of us thousands of miles from home can gather, practice our Indigenous traditions from Mexico, and pray in our own ways. This includes next year’s “Immigrant”Justice Prayer Walk.

We invite you to support this work by joining our fundraiser on November 7 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Seattle. Come share a Honduran meal, enjoy live music, and spend time with Community! Your support helps cover the costs of our technology programs and Community gatherings.
