Hi all, I’ve been away for a while lacking time to resolve this problem… but here I am now…
Do you hear the metallic knocking sound? It started as I was driving… I have replaced the valve adjusters (elephant foot CB) and re-adjusted the valves but the noise remains…
Is the next step engine out again and open the block this time??
Give me your thoughts!

First time taking the engine out since I got the car.
Complete check-up on the engine, cleaning, control of the torques (much needed 😰) and conversion of the rear brakes to discs kept me busy over the last two weeks.
Back on the road now and it feels so good!

Two long weeks being busy in the garage fixing things I should have taken care of a long time ago…
