Class of 2026 🎓

A story of long nights, silent battles, doubts, sacrifices… and faith.

I walked away in the 2024 season from part of my journey as an athlete, not because I stopped loving the game, but because I chose a bigger mission: to understand it deeper, serve it better, and represent it greater.

This Master’s isn’t just a degree.
It’s a tool. A responsibility. A purpose.

A way to give back to the game that built me, and to the country that shaped me 🇲🇦

I’m still the same kid chasing a ball…
just chasing purpose with it now.

To everyone who believed in me, supported me, guided me, challenged me, thank you.
This win is ours.

Big shotout to the @frmbasket for the opportunity, the support and all the responsabilities.

In memory of my coaches, Mr. Bensalem & Mr. Khalis. The journey continues…

Before I became a Sports Manager and Marketer, basketball was my first school. 🏀

A school of pressure, discipline, competition, failures, comebacks, and unforgettable mentors.

Growing up on the courts of Marrakech, I learned from experienced players, tough coaches, heated games, early-morning practices, and moments where I doubted myself but kept going. These years taught me lessons no classroom could ever replace!

They taught me how to handle pressure, stay calm in chaos, communicate clearly, motivate people, and think strategically. That’s why, today, in management and marketing, I naturally apply the same mindset:

Basketball didn’t just give me passion, it gave me a foundation for life and a clear vision for the leader I want to become.

Bigger than basketball.

It’s a mindset, a culture, a responsibility, and the reason I keep learning, growing, and giving back.

Basketball isn’t just about being a better player, it’s a tool to educate, connect, build confidence, and create opportunities. Years after first stepping onto a Giants of Africa court, @35_gotgame is using his voice to take the game even further.

We are thrilled to partner with Abdellah, the recipient of the GOA Alumni Program Content Creator Grant, and we are looking forward to collaborating on many posts to come! 👏🏾 by @35_gotgame

I grew up eating what I found in my plate, wearing what my parents could afford. that’s how I learned to be grateful and appreciative! 🙌🏼

5 YEARS OF MARRAKECH HOOPS. ❤️🏀

Five years ago, this was just an idea.

Today, it’s a movement.

To everyone who believed in us from Day 1 — thank you.
To every player who stepped on our court, every coach who shared knowledge, every volunteer who gave their time, every creator who told our story, every partner who opened a door, and every person who showed up and supported what we were building — this is yours too.

A very special thank you to @kickbackfoundation .
You believed in Marrakech Hoops when everything was just beginning. You were part of the foundation of this journey, and we’ll never forget that.

And to everyone who contributed to making this year’s edition possible — our team, partners, sponsors, staff, athletes, creatives, families and community — thank you for making these moments happen.

We didn’t build this in one day.
We built it one court, one player, one story, one connection at a time.

From a small initiative in the Medina to a movement.
From a basketball idea to 5 years of Marrakech Hoops.

And honestly…

We’re just getting started.

Our first Marrakech Hoops Creative Talk was a moment to pause, connect, and talk about everything beyond the game.

60+ people.
One community.
One open conversation.

We talked about the vision, the mission, the future of Marrakech Hoops, personal branding, opportunities, collaboration, and the power of representing each other.

Because we believe the next generation of basketball isn’t built only through games. It’s built through ideas, conversations, relationships, and opportunities.

Yesterday was about sharing what we’ve been building.
Today is about building it together.

This is only the beginning. Future is bright.
PLAY. CREATE. CONNECT. REPRESENT. 🧡🏀

A year ago… I just started.
Started content, then led evrything i’ve been building since my childhood.
No plan, just a feeling of duty.

Somewhere along the way,
it became bigger than basketball
it became a community, a mouvement, a culture… all love & respect.

Every message, every repost, every bit of support
I carry that with me.

I’m still learning, still building, still chasing…
but one thing I know for sure:

Start where you are.
Stay real.
Move with love.

The rest finds you.

See you somewhere in the world.
Llahikermeeeeek! 🤲🏼
