This frame is one of my favourites that I've shot this year and of course it was made in collaboration with @_tiannaharris who produced and conceptualized the images. taken in The Station Brisbane by @35mmmckenzie

When I was living with Gill a few years ago, life had been unkind to him. We would have regular and long conversations about feeling creatively stagnant and financially fucked (in my case, by my own doing). I often miss our time living together and miss having as much regular contact as we did living together. Years later and I couldn't be prouder of what @gillbates_aus has pushed through and where he's at today. Back releasing music, and maintaining that positive as fuck attitude that always makes me want to be better. Ghilay you're a fucking legend and I love ya.

Doing BTS on this shoot was an absolute pleasure as it always is working with @rafetgrima

Head to @gillbates_aus to check his new single.
