Se7en is a 1995 psychological crime thriller directed by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey. Set in a dark, crime-ridden city, the film explores the darkest sides of human nature through a series of murders inspired by the seven deadly sins.

PLOT
The story follows Detective William Somerset, an experienced investigator who has lost faith in humanity, and Detective David Mills, an impulsive young detective who still believes in justice. Together, they investigate a series of carefully planned murders committed by John Doe, a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins — Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Pride, Envy, and Wrath — as the foundation of his twisted plan.

THE TWIST
As the investigation reaches its conclusion, the detectives discover that the killer's final plan is designed to turn his own victims and pursuers into parts of his masterpiece. John Doe represents Envy, while Mills is driven into Wrath. The ending transforms the investigation into a tragedy about manipulation, revenge, and the destructive power of anger.

THEMES
Beyond its murder mystery, Se7en explores morality, corruption, obsession, and the struggle to maintain hope in a cruel world. It questions whether justice can survive when humanity itself becomes the source of evil.

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino. Produced by Tarantino, Ceán Chaffin, David Heyman, Stacey Sher, and Brad Pitt, it is a standalone sequel and spin-off to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), with Pitt and Timothy Olyphant reprising their respective roles as stunt double Cliff Booth and Western actor James Stacy. The ensemble cast also features Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, Karren Karagulian, and Holt McCallany.

In April 2025, it was reported that Netflix acquired the script from Tarantino. Pitt approached Fincher, with whom he had previously worked on Seven (1995), Fight Club (1999), and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), to direct the film. Pitt would also serve as a producer on the film through his production company, Plan B Entertainment, alongside David Heyman of Heyday Films. Casting began the following month, and principal photography took place in Los Angeles from July 2025 to January 2026. With a budget of $200 million, it would be Tarantino and Fincher's most expensive film.

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is scheduled to be released exclusively in IMAX on November 25, 2026, for a two-week engagement, before becoming available to stream on Netflix on December 23.
