For over a year I’ve been designing my own filter system with Freewell, and today I finally get to show it to you. Magnetic, they lock into place with a small turn, base rings so one set of filters works across your lenses, and the whole ten filter stack goes in your pocket. NDs, CPL, mist, with more to come..

FREEWELL ND filters on a 360 cam?

I put an ND filter on my DJI Osmo 360 II in a cotton field under harsh sun. Man, it turns out beautiful with increase image quality that I don’t expected! Now I am using ND to just boost my image quality on all 360 camera and shoot manual all the way.

On a color chart, the Freewell ND showed no color shift. Same filters fit the original Osmo 360 too. It is a pretty solid buy.

The catch is stitching. Turning on Transparent Lens Protectors in DJI Studio helps, but you will still see artifacts near the stitch line. So know your limit and place your camera correctly!

One filter, a little diffusion, and suddenly my iPhone footage just feels different. That dreamy look is honestly like adding a little bit of magic to my shots. 🤩
