BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO 365 ATHLETE @dathan.curp ‼️‼️

Dathan has worked incredibly hard to get to this position!! He is a fantastic example of just putting your head down and going to work each and everyday when nothing is promised. This kid has willed himself to be as good as he is now and the scary part is we believe he still has a very high ceiling above him!!! Enjoy this one Dathan and back to work👊 by @365pitchingperf

Landon Schreifels (2026) a Coffeyville commit or of Staley HS, has been working as hard as anyone this winter. Dude has a three pitch arsenal now with three pitches that flash plus. The splitter and slider are both swing and miss offerings and the fastball has been run up to 92 this winter. We look forward to following Landon’s journey this spring and beyond!

‼️PLAYER SPOTLIGHT‼️

Jon Sherrard (2027) a Liberty HS product, makes it difficult on everyone who gets in the box against him. He does a great job of hiding the baseball and tunneling the two-seam off his sweepy slider.
Fastball sits around 80 and gets to the low 80s at times. Not a lot of barrels are present when this guy is competing...ground ball machine. This kid can PITCH.

‼️PLAYER SPOTLIGHT‼️

Dathan Curp (2026) a Liberty North Product kept hitters off balance all day long with a mix of two different breaking balls and his fastball that has true carry. FB has been ran up to 85 this winter and he seems to have complete control of the offspeed currently. He’s in a good spot to have a great spring and we are excited to follow!

‼️PLAYER SPOTLIGHT‼️

Max Sheperd (2027) Liberty North product has a good day at Live ABs. Max has been working hard and is featuring a fastball he’s ran up to 94 this winter and the slider has turned into a real swing and miss option for him. CH continues to get better and better also. We are excited to follow him this year!

‼️PLAYER SPOTLIGHT‼️

Kaelan Bedford (2026) an Excelsior Springs product, who is committed to Johnson County, impressed on Saturday at Live ABs. Attacking hitters primarily with a 2 pitch mix being a fastball with elite ride and a sharpe 12-6 curveball to tunnel off the heater. Excited to see him pitch this spring!

FB: 88-90
CB: 71-75

Athletic throws are another tool we love to implement with our athletes. It’s funny to see how some of our younger athletes do these moves way better than the older guys.

As we get older some athletes have the athleticism coaches out of them to have “good mechanics”…younger athletes are self organizing their bodies to get the most out of it….its very interesting that in terms of movement patterns, younger athletes can look a lot more like big leaguers than our older athletes. STAY ATHLETIC!!
