Figma Skull Knight
.
What a gorgeous figure wow. Figma did an amazing job with the painting and sculpting. Skull Knight is as pointy and sharp as he should be and all the little details of damaged metal just make this thing come alive. It's got pretty good articulation for a guy who always sits on his horse or stands around (we'll get to horse in the next post). But of course you can never have anything perfect with Figma now can you - the wire in his cape (the tattered cape is done really well) is very thin and it has broken on one place. The swappable right forearm is also not without its issues as the joint itself can disassemble itself if not held in place with the forearm.

Blokees Ultron (Marvel Rivals)
.
The only Ultron figure you'll ever need. Amazing looks, tall, sturdy unlike a lot of Blokees kits and incredibly photogenic. The way this guy catches light is just 🫄🏻

Thank you, Peter Cullen.

Thank you for bringing to life a character that without your voice wouldn't have touched the hearts of millions of children in 1984. Without your voice he wouldn't become a heroic icon that stands toe to toe with the likes of Superman and Spider-Man in the modern pop culture mythos. Without your voice Optimus Prime wouldn't be Optimus Prime we know today. Without the gravitas and gentleness in your line delivery Optimus would have faded into obscurity. Your voice gave this character a future and YOU made him a hero. Our hero. My hero.

One shall stand. One shall fall.

Be strong enough to be gentle.

Now, light our darkest hour!

Above all, do not lament my absence.

For in my spark I know that this is not the end.

Keep fighting the noblest of fights.
