Bob has just finished fully restoring his old 1961 International AA110 (the "Australian A-line") truck and wants to sell it. It owes him about 60k and runs a factory-spec 240 cubic inch inline-6 petrol engine. #International1961AA110 #International1961C110 #International1961truck #1961Internationtruck #Australian1961AA110 by @38coupe
After 4 months of dry, South East Queensland have finally had some decent falls this last week. Our rainwater tanks are full and the polystyrene crocodile head is once again floating around. #lockyervalley by @38coupe

Although consistency remains a work in progress, the Wallabies have showed tangible structural improvements over recent matches, in particular tonight's win over South Africa in Perth. It's a great confidence booster for next months Bledisloe Cup where Australia will need to beat New Zealand in both games to win the cup back. The Springboks are currently the world’s best and beat the All Blacks 3 out of 4 matches this year. #wallabies #wallabiesrugby #bledisloecup #bledisloe by @38coupe

On January 1, 1901, the Australian Government held a public competition for a new national flag and nearly 33,000 entries were submitted. Five people had nearly identical designs and shared the prize. These joint winners were: an architect, a teenager, an artist, a sailor, and a cabinetmaker and they split the £200 prize money in 1901. A 125 yrs later, Australians are now renewing their national identity as a division over what it truly means to belong to this country and its flag is placing citizens into opposing ideological camps. Nevertheless, Happy Australia Flag Day! #australiaflagday #australiaflag🇳🇿 by @38coupe
Here's the clan, soaking up Queensland's winter morning sun, and expecting a high of 23° today. Cooper appears to be satisfied with his current quality of life and is still with us. Let's face it, we certainly can give thanks and all be grateful for something, probably every single day... if we think about it. 🌻 by @38coupe
Van Viet Truong was critically injured after he rushed to the aid of a fellow retail worker trying to stop the group stealing clothes in Sunshine in Melbourne’s west. The grocery store owner was taken to hospital but died last Wednesday afternoon. Three boys aged 12, 13 and 15 and two 14-year-old girls were charged with a series of assault-related offences including affray, violent disorder and intentionally causing serious injury. The 15-year-old’s charges to now include manslaughter. Australia is experiencing intense public and political debate over youth crime, but national data shows that the overall rate of youth offenders has decreased. While certain regions and specific violent or repeat offences have drawn acute concern, criminologists and policy experts describe the situation as a complex structural and systemic challenge rather than a uniform national crisis. Whatever that means. 🤔 #youthcrime #youthcrimeprevention #youthcrimecrisis #youthcriminaljusticeact by @38coupe
Today is New Zealand’s last day of commercial greyhound racing. Friday, July 31, 2026 The reason for the closure is the high and persistent injury and death rates among racing dogs that were highlighted across multiple governmental reviews. Here in Australia, the Australian Capital Territory banned the sport in 2018, while the Tasmanian Government is attempting to legislate a ban from 2029. In all other states and territories it remains legal. There is a public protest at Queens Gardens, Brisbane tomorrow 10am. Currently, there is an E-Petition in Queensland Parliament of Queensland. Old Cooper may not be seeing his 14th birthday next month as his days are starting to fade. He's been thinking about that long forever sleep more than chasing the ball. by @38coupe
