AUGUST 2023 > before

We converted our third bedroom into an office/wardrobe to give us more space and storage 🫶 It has made such a difference to our space and allowed us to put out style on things! 🥰

Long time without posting!! 👀

Not too much done this year to the outside of our house, but we did manage to paint the back fence, tidy up and rearrange some of the furniture, so we have been able to enjoy the garden in the sun ☀️

Upcycled the wardrobe in the spare bedroom! Painted it white, and added some lovely chrome handles to match all the other things in the room! Cant believe the difference it has made! The room feel so much bigger! ◻️ #upcycle #upcycledfurniture #upcyclethathome #upcycling #upcycled #painting #furniture #furnituremakeover #homesweethome #homedecor #refreshing #homerefresh by @38living

Little Sunday project! 🎨

AFTER——>BEFORE

The plan was to change the handles to a chrome finish, more modern looking ones, but they didn’t fit... but kinda looks cute as it matches the rest of our oak furniture!

AFTER —-> BEFORE!! ‼️

After at least a 6 month wait due to COVID, we finally have a new door, replaced the glass in some of our windows & had new soffits & fascias on the house and the garage!

We Didn’t realise HOW bad there were until they were done! 🤣

Cheeky little photo of Chippy too! 🐱

Scaffolding comes down next week (fingers crossed for the weather!) & we can start getting back to normal!

Next job on the list is to up cycle some of the upstairs furniture & finish the garden in the spring! 🌼

THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! 🤩

I’m so excited to share some pictures of our finished kitchen!

SWIPE FOR BEFORE & AFTER! ‼️

We have knocked down 2 walls, build another wall, extended our kitchen into a beautiful open plan living space and we couldn’t be happier! It’s absolutely everything we wanted, and after designing the layout myself Im so so happy it payed off!

Thank you so much to @howdensjoinery for making this possible and for all the support from the tradesmen and family who have supported through the process!

When you think you’ve about finished one project and another one begins...

This house is full of builders loopholes & tired structures, so this week we have new soffits and fascias being fitted on the house and the garage, two new windows & a new front door!

Annoying we have also found theres a hole in the roof, which isn’t ideal but glad its been spotted before theres too much damage! Cannot wait to get all this outside work done!

finally we have a patio area! 😍 Its so hard to complete a garden this late in the year (thanks COVID), due to the changing weather, but we are getting there slowly! Slabs are down and we are one step closer to finishing!
Next up is to level the top corner, lay some grass and a small path up to the patio and redo the patio at the bottom of the garden! Cant wait to upload more progress photos! 🍂🍁 #renovationproject #renovation #firsttimehomebuyer #firsttimebuyer #firsthome #gardendesign #gardeninspiration #gardenrenovation by @38living
