38Speed✖️BrushUP Autoworks✖️OC CRX meet !!

A huge thank you to everyone that took the time out of their Saturday morning to come out, chat about their projects, and eat a burger or two !

It was great to see old friends and make some new ones as well.. I had a blast just being in everyone's presence after not being in America for years. Definitely a memory to take back with me to Japan forever. Thank you so much for being a part of it ! I hope everyone had a great time.

Huge shout out to my bros @nihkon , @synergy10.sd , and @just.jesus.ef for coordinating with me ! It was like old times being out at the park again.. I just wish I was in a CR-X again ! 😂

'till next time guys... either in Socal or Japan. Let's link up again !

Much love,
38Speed.Jo ❤️‍🔥

Circuit Festa Fall 2026 complete !

Breezy, cool temps, and not a drop of rain all day. Was a great day for racing ! 🏁

Circuit Festa for 2025 is a wrap !

We had pretty unfavorable weather today, with on and off rain the whole event. Despite the slippery conditions, everybody pushed their machines to the limit which made for some exciting battles on track.

Threw a quick reel together for everyone's viewing enjoyment. Hopefully one day you can come to a Circuit Festa event in-person and experience west Japan's largest Honda only track event. 🏁🏁🏁

Headed down to @zerofighterautocustom to check out some golden era Hondas and pick up a set of front drop forks for my EK.

Always a pleasure seeing what they got cooking at ZeroFighter !

Had a great time during our visit to @jsracingjapan !

They moved to this new facility about 3 years ago and was my first time to checking it out. Their new show room is full of their race cars, J's Racing memorabilia, and a lot of goodies to buy.

If you're a diehard Honda fan, visiting J's Racing is a must when you're in Osaka.

Big, big thank you to Yuki and Hisaaki for the hospitality and the shop tour ! 😊🙏🏽

Big ありがとう to the long-time homie @ef_chris for stopping by the shop while he was in Osaka ! Sorry we didn't have any EF's at the shop buddy... but I think a genuine "One Make Race" Civic Type R was pretty cool to see ! haha

Great to finally see you here in Japan. Safe trip back to Socal ! (and thank you for all the goodies !! YO TFTI😂) 🙏🏽

@aslan_inc_japan 's beautiful FL5 Civic Type R. Such a great combo of parts on this R. 🏁

Zenki EK rocking some serious aero. I like how he's using the @_mozcraft_ front lip mated to an even larger splitter. Simple and effective.

Was in Namba doing the usual rounds with the EK9, when I was approached by a gentleman from Russia. Aleksei is visiting Osaka from Vladivostok and recognized my car from a video his buddy filmed when he was also visiting Japan.

We went to swap IGs and turns out Aleksei was already following me ! 😂 Aleksei is also a die-hard Honda guy, owning a DC2 he's been building back home in Russia.

Super small world ! It was really nice to meet and chat with you in person Aleksei !! Very cool to have someone from Russia recognize my car.

Have a great rest of your stay here in Osaka ! 👍🏽

Woooo hoooo !!!! The Civic's biennial vehicle inspection passed with flying colors ...and maaan I'm SO HAPPY !😆

While I was getting the car prepped for inspection, I replaced the steering rack boots, all accessory belts, tie rod boots, and replaced the battery with a fresh one. She's running buttery smooth and better than ever now.

Such a pain to return the car to OEM spec, just for it to pass inspection though ..but ya know what ? I kinda dig-it being OEM spec. I'm gonna slam it again but I might just roll on the OEM EK9 wheels for a bit.

Might mess around and sell it... who knows.

Anyone wanna buy a pre-loved '98 Civic Type R ? I know a guy... 😏

PS : Thank you to @brushup_aw_osaka for always handling my vehicle inspection needs !👍🏽

Always so great to see the French homie @alexbriol in Osaka ! Time was tight and I wasn't able to catch your other friends (@yohan_16a and @missilevampire) but there'll definitely be a next time.

Safe travels back to France brother and thank you for the wine and chocolate ! 🙏🏽😊
