Painted these 3 back-to-back fairly quickly.. after painting on standard frame sizes for a good stretch (much easier to find inexpensive framing, versus going the custom size route) the new elongated shape was very fun to throw some flow lines down on and develop into some funky shapes and textures. The 4th one suddenly road blocked me, and I have probably gone over that one around 5x with gesso after some failed attempts--just means the lucky one is coming up soon though 🤙 stay well and keep it crafty friends! All the love 🫂

this canvas had been on the ground near an opening to the outside and during a rain it this and a couple others ended up sitting and soaking in some water for a while. had I known I was gonna start a personal favorite I would've gotten a gallery wrapped canvas, but I never know how my paintings are gonna develop so I support stays in my personal collection 🤷‍♂️ prnts on my wbsite however 🛸

Much love for all of you following and helping support me! Truly means a lot and can't tell ya how much it helps to see my art biz gaining a little traction.. so much more to come, including some live streaming sessions, new art and timelapse footage, and almost certainly me being a weirdo and doing cringey ass stuff 🤙🫠

Fun lil jammer from 2017, was digging the minimal color palette and simple but bold imagery.. forget the size exactly but somethings around an 8x11 in. canvas i believe..?

First painting finished for my "bad art" series, and I have some notes.. first off going into this with the mindset that I was gonna make something bad immediately had me less stressed while working. That inner critique voice was mostly quiet and I painted for longer stretches without needing to stare and figure out next steps.. didn't know what I was gonna paint so I ended up making a character that feels very channeled from my middle-school days and drawing cartoons all over my notebooks, i was heavy into big noses and mischievous swooping eyebrows in those days lol, myehhh you see, myehhh.. anyways this was a fun experiment and I'm gonna keep it going with this no-plan make-stuff don't-think vibe. Maybe the "cool" art will develop from there, we shall see.. 🤨

Creativity in motion.. down to make every 4th image or so a sleeve for the weird and brave btw 🤙 by @3bak_art

Last completed *studio* painting i should have said, as i did paint a big assessment mural of alien egg characters at the @artparkfestival recently! Great times btw, was hoping that inspiration would carry over but must've lost it on the flight back to the west coast.. should've kept it in my carry-on luggage. 🤔 welp, let's see how these bad paintings go and what characters I may develop, wanna get back into a paint pushing flow fasho

Flashback to that time I won the @globalinheritance contest to paint a recycling bin for the Coachella music festival, mine ended up getting posted at the main stage which was pretty rad! It was fun working on a multi-dimensional surface and trying to incorporate elements to make everything work together..

Nice rainy weather here in SoCal and I'm sitting in the backyard listening to it all.. my painting practices have been struggling lately and I can't seem to get past it! Keep attempting to push pigments on some canvas and get back to flow but hitting a wall. Feels like a multi-year slump which is abnormal for my usual workflow (which does include breaks and is totally fine..) but still trying to stay positive and keeping the head/body healthy in practice. The creativity will come, I will trust in that. In the meantime maybe I need to try some still life's or something I dunno.. 🫠

Figured we were overdue for a ramble vid.. or at least that's what the Al-go-rhythm was hinting at me 🤷‍♂️ back on my health boost and feeling solid lately after toning down some toxins, pretty amazing how much some small daily life changes can affect your moods. That includes keeping off the doom-scroll wheel of defeat and belittlement, no matter how engaging it may seem you gotta start flooding your nervous system with positive influence if you wanna change your mindset. My IG and TT is tuned up very positively, FB seems to be a cesspool still but I'm trying to slowly change that so I pop on more often for my homies there. Sending the love and stay well my phone friends ✨️✨️

"Desert Driving" 16"x20" acrylic on canvas, always interesting to see what my hand wants to paint sometimes..! This was a fun one where the foreground kinda came together quickly but the background took a few layers.. there was initially more of a sunset thing going on but it was clashing with the foreground tones and I needed more separation of the elements so it kinda went surrealistic-blue clouds. Always love painting weird textures.. 🖖🫠
