Our Mexican Boy Cielo Trujillo 9.16.2007 ~ 7.1.2022 by @3baytri

It's been 159 days and it still feels like yesterday...how can that be? It's been too difficult to share and at times speak about our beautiful boy Cielo Trujillo. He went peacefully 159 days ago, as he lay on his favorite blanket made by his great-grandmother who is 102. He had his mom, dad, abuelo & abuela right by his side.

Not surprising...he was a gentleman till the very end. His vet Dr. B and his favorite assistant Kristen were with him also. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. The pain was unbearable. Our hearts continue to ache. Each day we remember our boy who was one in a million. We hope it gets easier, but that hasn't come yet.

Thank you to our AMAZING and insanely adored boy for ALL you gave to ALL. What would have been your 15th birthday, came and went and the pain was terrible. It's still too painful to read the sympathy cards or even look at your meticulously engraved urn. Your remains sit, waiting to be unwrapped and over them the adorable painting of your beautiful face... watching over us just like always. You are now keeping your grandma company in heaven. We miss you so much it aches.

Until we meet again...

Mexican Boy

I'm now...1️⃣4️⃣ years YOUNG! 😎 My #birthday was #September 16th which I share with #Mexican Independence Day!🇲🇽 My great-grandma (who is 101 years YOUNG) has always said that I'm a "Mexican Boy" 😊 probably because she knows/supports my love for #tortillas. 🤤

Had a great birthday...started with a PUPappuccino, followed by a couple of naps and then my grandparents invited my crazy family over for cake.🎂

I got all dressed up🎩 and tried to patiently wait for my cake😌 (there may have been some 🗣 barking...
to help speed things up😬).

It just so happened that my cake was on⏳ "Salvadorian time"🤭🙈 which was NOT at all new, if you know my crazy tribe.😂

Once that deliciousness 🎂got to the table I was ready!

I surely keep my eye on my cousin Princess the doberman, cause she's a quick one!🐾👅👀

Oh... and I made sure to help my family with the singing part too.🎶😏

I ENJOYED that delicious cake...(see last photo🙈) DON'T judge. My manners sure went out the window by then.🥸 My parents endured snoring AND farting💣💩ALL night (so I hear).🤭🤷🏻‍♂️

I send a THANK YOU to my #crazy family who I wouldn't trade for the world, for their unconditional #LOVE! - Cielo Trujillo 🐾❤
