Dear Friends in Paris

I am delighted to extend a warm invitation to you for a special *Open Studio Session* hosted at the Cité Internationale des Arts in the heart of the charming Le Marais district, representing Fire Station: Artist in Residence Doha / Qatar Museums.

Over the past three months of my residency in Paris, I have been deeply inspired by the *traditional gypsum ornaments in Qatari architecture* , a heritage rich in meaning and artistic beauty. The exhibition features a collection of acrylic paintings that explore the intricate details of these unique ornaments and their profound impact on me as an artist.

During this journey, I experimented with various themes, patterns, and compositions, weaving together Qatar's heritage and the modern architectural landmarks close to my heart, such as the *Museum of Islamic Art* , with its iconic design. Through these works, I’ve sought to encapsulate moments from the past and present, showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of colors that bring these ornaments to life.

If you are not a resident of the Cité and would like to attend this event, please feel free to contact me so I can share further details on how to access the venue.

📍 *Location:* Cité Internationale des Arts, 18 Rue de l’Hôtel de Ville, 75004 Paris
📌 *Studio:* B 2023 (Qatar Museums)
🗓 *Date:* Wednesday, March 26, 2025
⏰ *Time:* 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

I look forward to welcoming you and sharing this artistic experience with you!

Monochrome exhibition
part 2

With Art Space Art Group
Organized by me and supervised

In cooperation with Katara Cultural District

Entitled monochrome or monochrome

This exhibition presents a collection of paintings by Qatari artists and residents, so the choice of monochrome in the first exhibition organized by the group is itself a new presentation of locally known artistic methods. The color monochrome system may seem to be an integral way of expression as a method that depends on on color with a spectrum of lights and dark shadows to accomplish the artwork. And here comes the role of the artist to aive the recipient the integrated feeling of the visual scene and to be satisfied with employing only one color. Transparency that there is no need for anvthing more than this color to achieve the goal of the visual scene.
