Two weekends- Two Homecomings. Clark Atlanta and UC don’t owe me nothing. Always a blessing to fellowship with my people !!! by @3d_law

*WARNING LONG POST*

A week ago, I stepped on stage for my first bodybuilding competition. These last 9 months been real !!! When I look at these pictures, I don’t see a transformation. I see evidence.

Evidence of hundreds of workouts, meal prep when I didn’t feel like it, cardio when I was exhausted, saying no when everyone else was saying yes, and showing up even when I doubted myself. The stage photo is just the receipt. The work happened long before the photo.

Huge thank you to @melg0db0dy at @runbyu_ he trained me through this prep. My guy saw me through this and pulled the best out of me even when I felt like I didn’t have anything left in the tank. I had one of the best physiques on that stage and I couldn’t have done that without him. If you are looking to change your physique or just be healthier. I highly recommend reaching out to him, it will change your life. Im in the best shape of my life.

And to my coach @sambodie24 . My brother thank you for being patient with all the questions and being with me every step of the way. This journey changed my life and I couldn’t have done it without you. I can’t wait for us to keep going. Reach out to him for the blueprint. This man’s a genius amongst the 30 other hats he wears lol 🤙🏾🤙🏾.

And I got to shoutout my other favorite trainer @fitnextcs . If it wasn’t for my cousin right here and his expertise I would’ve never started working out in the first place

I started this journey because I wanted abs. Somewhere along the way it became about discipline, consistency, and proving to myself I could do something hard. I didn’t place and that’s ok, my posing was so bad 😂, Next time we’re trying to win, We’re definitely running it back.

As Nipsey said The Marathon Continues. 🏁💪🏽 by @3d_law

Earlier this week I lost one of my heroes. My Papa (Grandfather) taught me so many life lessons and Just loved me so much. If I needed it, he was making it happen….. If I can be half the man he was I’m going to be alright. This hurts right now because grandparents and heros feel like they should be forever but part of the journey is the end. Cheers to a life well lived papa 🥂 I love you and I’ll always keep you in my heart and mind. by @3d_law

11/17/13…… 10 years is insane without you Vince…… that day changed everything for me. You were such a bright spot in so many people’s lives little cuz ! I hate that a coward ended that prematurely. I can honestly say I never thought I would be able to live without you cuz but here we are 10 years later. I hope I’m making you proud. I love and miss you Vince! You were my little cousin and my best friend. They say time heals all wounds but I’m just not so sure. by @3d_law
