The response to the last post revealed a lot more than I expected. Some people were inspired. While others proved exactly why this conversation matters; It’s interesting how a Black man with locs/wicks, talking about real estate development, rebuilding his life after 10years in prison, and helping others escape the streets can make certain people so uncomfortable. Not because of the message, but because of who’s delivering it. I do this for the people who feel counted out.The people trying to change. The people who never saw someone that looked like them in these spaces. Because representation matters. Redemption matters.
