Stills from my Nigeria footage, shot on MiniDV, 2025.

For me it was so much more than simply documenting my surroundings. To this day, I am deeply inspired by what i observed throughout this journey. It opened up difficult conversations, taught me things about my father's early life, and allowed me to remember everything he went through. Trauma runs deep through generations, and I feel a responsibility to bring these wounds into awareness, so that they can finally be seen and healed. taken in Lagos, Nigeria by @3ileenofure
