I’m on number 14 of the 16 blocks for a king size quilt (19”blocks). The inspiration was our wall panels from Amazon, I wanted something to complement them, so I came up with this idea and hubby made me a template set. I’ve never done this kind of wavy curved piecing before and it’s very slow. 🫠 I’ll stitch in the ditch and then quilt another curved line between each seam, so each block will duplicate the wall panels. The neutral colors are so 🥱 but it works with the room. Interestingly, all the waves in the blocks should fit together. Hopefully 🫣🤞Maybe 😬🤷‍♀️
I am enjoying the #essexlinen

It’s been a loooong time since I made a quilt, it feels so good 😊 to be doing it again! Im going for a 1930’s shabby chic look, with a faded looking fabric and using the very traditional lone star pattern, it’s one of my favorites.

It’s the noisy Fourth of July, do you know where your cat is?? #cats #rescuecatsofinstagram by @3milesout

She’s a sweetheart ❤️ Now very old, with congestive heart failure (4/6 murmur), cataract in one eye, missing a lot of teeth, a hernia from coughing so much and trying to keep the liquid out of her lungs. But her disposition is great, we’re medicating continuously, and giving her lots of love. ❤️ Dogs are better than we could ever hope to be. #dogsofinstagram #japanesechin #toughroadahead #dogsarethebest #enjoyitwhileyoucan by @3milesout

Fiesta haul at the goodwill! 💃 Love the 6 square (retired shape) luncheon plates in lemongrass 😍(retired color)😍 Plus you can never have too many (6) dinner plates. And for all those with sharp eyes 👀 yes, that is a lovely piece of holmegaard glass for $8.99. #thrifting #fiesta #fiestadinnerware #goodwilloutletfinds #crazydishlady by @3milesout

Say hello to Pixie, our new family member. 🙂🤞 She was found at 2 weeks old with no mama, an eye swollen shut, a tapeworm and covered in fleas. She was bottle fed every 2 hours for weeks, and the vet took care of the rest. Support your local rescue. 🛟 #rescuecatsofinstagram #rescuecat #rescuecatsrule by @3milesout
