Our classes are designed for all experience levels! We have AM and PM classes throughout the week. And for those who can’t make a weekday class, we also have Sunday afternoon classes! When you enroll, you’ll have access to: - All of our studio tools and equipment - Our wide selection of glazes, underglazes, and commercial glazes - Open Studio hours to come in outside of class time and work on your pieces - Firing in our oxidation, reduction, or soda kilns at no additional cost at the conclusion of the session Our special theme for this session is Holiday Gifts! 🎁 Join Lotus Monday mornings or Allyn Tuesday mornings and spend seven weeks making thoughtful, handmade gifts for the people on your list — or maybe a little something for yourself! There’s a reason so many people turn to clay as a way to slow down and unwind. Working with your hands and focusing on a creative process can provide a mindful break from the everyday, while giving you space to experiment, make mistakes, and simply enjoy the process. And when you enroll, you’re also supporting accomplished professional artists who are passionate about ceramics and sharing their knowledge with our community. Come spend seven weeks getting your hands in some clay. We’d love to have you in the studio! by @3rdcoastclay

Get insight to their individual techniques, artistic process, motivation to create, and woven history. Gallery Hours on Sunday 10/11: 12-3pm. Come early to peruse the exhibit before the talk. “Shared Ground explores the relationship between Earth and one another through the medium of clay. Soil goes through a metamorphosis to become a ceramic work of art. It begins cold and loose in the depths of the earth. It emerges to be mixed with water and other minerals, becoming malleable and smooth, ready to be shaped and given a new purpose. It is then thrown in the fire to harden, making its surface so tense that it can explode from the presence of the smallest fracture. We are molded and tested in the same way throughout our lives as we entwine ourselves with others.” All information was taken from https://foelberpottery.com/pages/shared-ground by @3rdcoastclay
