A bit jetlagged but happy to celebrate Halloween at @joycarlsen new place. Congrats my friend! And amazing costume! by @3rdelementco

Visit to tokyo flea market was a wet one. Found a few items to come home with. Then we went to Apit aautpbac, a massive automotive parts and merch store. Then I trekked to Kichijoji to Bside label sticker company to snag another sticker binder, refills, and location specific stickers. Then home to dry off, warm up, then get some dinner at Kura. Good day. Tomorrow is our last full day in Japan. Going to have lunch with our friends. And then final pack. by @3rdelementco

Over 15k steps. A trip to Kappabashi Dori to snag a knife that @dangerdrapr needed for me to purchase in his stead. And then off to tokyo tower to meet amy for lunch, view from the observation deck was incredible as was the zoom in these phones. Then to studio ghibli store for amy. Came back, dropped off out purchases and the off to the park. It cooled off a lot. by @3rdelementco

Was a good day...hot...but good. We went to Nakano Broadway for breakfast at Coffee Zingara and then found a few things without looking too hard. Hopefully can go back before we leave. Then I ran an errand to get bubblewrap and plastic baggies for packaging. And then met Daiki and Eina for dinner at Shinjuku. Fantastic Oden and Seabream. Had some mentaiko I also enjoyed. Enjoyed some ice cream and then we went home. Good day. by @3rdelementco

A good combo of hobbyjapan64, tomica, and samurai.

My best recommendation, hit every Yodabashi And Bic Camera along with tamtam hobby shop and Gallery Tanaka. Earlier in the trip KenBox 2 in Shinjuku had good results also. by @3rdelementco

Haul will be in the next post. But I made it to Akihabara but specifically for Yodabashi Camera for a luggage scale (die cast has some weight to it). Of course I had to look around. Amy made a cute joke but me misreading the text...she also came home with a life sized penguin. I also loved the art of the model kit box. Not sure why it says Treason. Then I stopped for lunch and got a beef flavored potato croquette. And an Aquarious. Then I visited a couple more shops. One being TamTam hobbies. I did find 2 altezza there. But only thanks to pattern recognition I did find what I was searching for. Next I went to Gallery Tanaka. Spotted another Altezza by Tomica and I asked nice older lady if the had any others. She typed into her system and spun the monitor around and she did. So I wanted those. She grabbed her little flashlight and went to 2 cases and harvested the cars I wanted. After this, I was satisfied with my results and started my walk back to the station. Amy needed some pencils for her travel Journaling she does, so I stopped at bic camera and snagged what she needed. Then purchased on more train themed gachapon she wanted earlier in the day and I hopped onto the local chuo line and got a seat. And waited 12 stop. Then arrived at my home station of Nakano. Hit a 7/11 on the way to our place to snag some supplies and drinks we needed. And Amy had ordered local shop in Shinjuku to make and deliver us some Okonomiyaki and skewers. It was better than any ive ever had. ...and it was takeout. Wrapped up the night with a shower and going through my purchases. by @3rdelementco

Warm cloudy day. Knock out some gift purchases and then off to to Akihabara for hunting of Altezza diecast. I really love the Halloween signage. They really aren't having it. by @3rdelementco

"Needed" to make.a return visit to Harajuku Liberty Walk to snag something for a buddy. May have snagged another car and stickers. Next, I headed for Shimon-Kitazowa (the hipster side of town) and have a great visit with Victoria at @bikudesigns where she shared some of her work with me. She has a very good studio ready for her retreats and projects. I was able to pick up some of @erica.ward.illustration work that I really like but cannot receive in the USA. We wrapped the day at Komeda Coffee and of course our daily pancake. by @3rdelementco

The ride home was longer than expected due to expressway congestion. But what that meant is that when we got home we needed to find some dinner. @e87.13 found a place around the corner from our Airbnb that had a wait but also great reviews. So we went back to our place and exchanged gifts. I am grateful for the entire day. Every mile driven and impossible parking spot @kobadaichan wedged the van into, every shared candy and laughter with our friends. It was also incredible how well our translation app worked the whole time. We were able to make jokes and share buts about our history. Example: snoralax the pokemon is Kabigon. So for the rest of the day when we would get sleepy we would share the laugh that we were him. Every sneeze "bless you" was shared no matter our native language. And when referring to my self, I self identified as "sexy" lol what a perfect day. by @3rdelementco

31 flights of stairs/incline. Man, I dont know how low altitude people do this. It was tough on us when are used to thin air. But it was so worth it! Fuji was shrouded in clouds when we arrived at the top. But the view was still spectacular. What a momentum peak to the day. Now it was time to head back. by @3rdelementco

Lunch was a soup/stew named Hoto. Filled with noodles, cabbage, onions, tiny mushrooms, a few green beans, and pumpkin 🎃. The broth was incredible and all very hot as it is cooked in cast iron pots. So satisfying and very filling. What we didnt know is that we would need this fuel for the final hike of the day. by @3rdelementco

The water was deep but incredibly clear.
From here we headed to lunch. by @3rdelementco
