~ I was inspired by this beautiful flower🥹

A tiny flower with a big story—Forget-Me-Not, the symbol of enduring love and memories that never fade. 🌸

Its name is believed to come from a medieval tale where a knight, drowning in a river after picking the flower for his lady, shouted, "Forget me not!" as he was swept away. The flower thus became a symbol of enduring love and remembrance.

Throughout history, Forget-Me-Nots have been exchanged as tokens of loyalty and faithfulness. Today, they also represent remembrance, used in events like war memorials and as the symbol for Alzheimer’s awareness, embodying the enduring power of memory and love.

P. S. ChatGPT wrote this Text for me... I love how informative it is😂

~birds are so precious...sometimes I wish I could sit next to them, listen to their little songs and forget about all my worries🤭

now something a bit more personal🥰

a biblevers which came into my mind while looking at this painting:

" Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Mat. 6,26)

To really put my trust in God is actually something I have experienced over and over again...and still need to learn and understand better...
So this painting should work as a little reminder to myself ... to trust him even if everything seems hopeless or chaotic, bc he is in control🧡
(Maybe it can be a little reminder to some of you too)🤭🥰

Have a beautiful day!🧡

~some things never change...

pls tell me you can relate😅

I remember my teachers telling me (more than once) to finally put that pencil down and listen… but I just couldn’t do it. Even at university, I was always scribbling while listening to lectures.

I often thought, maybe I’m not normal. What’s wrong with me? But now, as a teacher myself, I’ve realized that so many kids tend to do the same thing.

And honestly? Why shouldn’t this be considered normal?

Maybe it is normal.
Normal for these kids, at least. 🎨💜

To be honest, it's often hard for me to truly slow down and quiet my mind. I'm always thinking about the next thing on my to-do list. But this summer, I'm choosing something different.

I'm really looking forward to summer vacation. ☀️🤍

No deadlines. No pressure. No rushing. Just sunshine, time with the people I love, little adventures, creativity, and moments that remind me to simply be present.

Here's to slowing down, recharging, and making memories that last longer than any checklist. I hope you're having a beautiful summer too. 🌿✨

Hi, I’m so happy you’re here! 🌸✨
I thought it was finally time to introduce myself again...maybe to new people🤭. I'm an hobby artist who loves creating dreamy little worlds inspired by watercolor, flowers, cozy cottagecore vibes, fairy tales, and a touch of nostalgia.

Most of my paintings are made with watercolor because I absolutely love how soft, unpredictable, and magical it feels...but I also enjoy working with acrylic whenever I want bold colors and a different kind of texture.
I grew up surrounded by Disney movies and Barbie, and I honestly think they shaped the way I see beauty, color, and storytelling. That little spark of childhood magic has never really left me. 💗

I'm also obsessed with children's book illustrations, whimsical characters, blooming meadows, tiny woodland details, cute animals, vintage aesthetics, and everything that feels cozy, peaceful, and full of imagination.

Creating art has always been my favorite way to express myself, and this little corner of the internet is where I get to share that creativity with all of you. Whether you're here because you love watercolor, illustration, cottagecore, or simply enjoy watching art come to life—I'm so grateful you're here.

If my art feels like your cup of tea, stay a while. There are lots of paintings, cozy creations, and magical moments still to come. 🌿🎨🤍

~ I I started this account in 2020, and back then the art community on Instagram felt so different. It was all about inspiring each other, connecting, and discovering amazing artists. Honestly, that sense of community motivated me to keep creating every single day. 🤍

These days, it sometimes feels like the focus has shifted. Since Reels became such a big part of Instagram, it often seems like it's less about the art itself and more about the content surrounding it. Maybe that's just my perception—but I really miss simply admiring beautiful artwork and finding new artists.

So let's change that for a moment. ✨

🎨 Drop your favorite artwork (or your latest piece!) in the comments. I'd love to scroll through your creations, discover new artists, and give some well-deserved love to art that deserves to be seen. And hopefully, others will too. 🫶

Let's support each other, connect, and remind ourselves what this community is really about. ❤️

~I almost kept "fixing" this painting.

But as someone who struggles with perfectionism, I knew that would defeat the whole purpose.

So I stopped. Took out a black Fineliner and just drew without thinking...
Not because it felt right...but bc I wanted to prove myself that imperfection also means uniqueness.

Trust the process Ig😅
Would you've kept going? 🎨

I searched random words, used the first results only, and combined them into one drawing AND this is what I came up with 👀✨

Would you try this challenge? 👇

The words were:

~ Hey, I’m Esty 🤭
I draw tiny fairytale like worlds
... though mine got a bit lost when I lost my favorite drawing buddy earlier this year. But I’m finding my way back, one sketch at a time. 🫶

Happy to meet fellow artist friends so introduce yourself 😍

Wish you all a wonderful day/night whatever it may be!✨️
