Regenerative Landscaping: One of the projects I have spent a decent amount of time on this semester. I really valued this experience of analyzing, defining, and addressing a sites unique characteristics and history and applying skills I have learned throughout my education and extracurriculars. I am excited to continue to develop my knowledge and skills as I enter my final year of my undergraduate and begin my first year of the accelerated masters program in Landscape Architecture! I feel very strongly about the material I am learning and really value the skills I am gaining, to me this isn't just a degree but a set of skills I want to obtain. If you would have told me 4 years ago I would be studying something I feel so much passion for AND pursuing a masters degree in it I would NOT have believed you. I have dedicated so much of my time to this and see a path I want to follow, very grateful for that. Im so grateful for the opportunities I have and I could not have done any of this without the support of my parents, thank you, I love you so much :) <3. TURN TO CHECK OUT THIS MAP I MADE!! 4 SCHOOL!

I LIKE MAPS!!!!!!

For this assignment we mapped out the El Pueblo Community Center in Tucson AZ. I focused on the park section of the center and the possibility of green stormwater infrastructure. I collected data with the question in mind: We all want more trees on site for shade, cooling, and benefiting native wildlife BUT is that possible in the Sonoran Desert? Absolutely it is! Im focusing on drought resistant, native plant species that will enhance the biodiversity, prevent flooding from monsoons, and increase the soil quality and water retention plus so much more! Next step will be doing more research, proposing a design plan and more research! Looking into earthen shade structures that ENHANCE the ecosystem and don't harm it!

My favorite thing about the paintings I make is I never know what they are going to turn into. This live painting began in the desert at @offthegridcampout and finished up at @sun_set_glass_gallery, such lovely atmospheres that I’m so grateful to be a part of :). I wanna call this one the birth of the universe but maybe it’s the continuous birth of me? It’s the birth of something, or death, or both, who knows. I had fun with this one and am very pleased with how it come about:) by @3ver3volving

BE HERE NOW!!! A piece that reflects the interconnectedness of it all :) Ahhhh I’m so full of appreciation and love! I got to paint my largest painting yet!!! Live painting is truly a form of flow for me, to let go and just feel the atmosphere and energy around me and translate that into art! Wow! I feel so lucky to get to do this!! I’m so proud of myself for making this happen :) thank you thank you @duskmusicfestival see ya next year!!
