At Princeton, BlackBox started in 2005 as an alternative to “The Street” on campus. It was a dry party (we had a lot of Red Bull) in the basement of Wilcox Hall, and because of that, we brought the best music and themes to make sure the vibes were right. It was run by students who valued dancing and music from a variety of genres that weren’t commonly played elsewhere on campus.

BlackBox ran for 15 years before it ended. It’s a big part of my Princeton legacy, so it was my pleasure to DJ BlackBox: One Night Only at Princeton Reunions 2026. Much appreciation to @reggiegalloway and the Class of 2011 for bringing it back and making it a historic night 👏🏽

Special thanks to @deejaypuffy 🇧🇧 for blessing my employee-led group, Caribbean Connection at Amazon, as we celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month. It’s been a pleasure working with other Amazonians to make this group a reality. And it’s always my pleasure to put on for the culture wherever I go. One Love 🇹🇹🇬🇾 by @3xdex

Built by community. Sustained by culture. After three years of work, we finally got to celebrate the recognition of Caribbean Connection, an employee-led group at Amazon. Proud of what happens when we move together 📸: @lienette by @3xdex
