This is a two part post. I met Nicolas Winding Refn in Chicago who was promoting his new film Her Private Hell (distributed by Neon) which was colorful and intense. He signed my Blu-ray copy of Drive which he directed. Kavinsky passed away at the age of 50 today and I am gutted by this news. When I watched Drive for the first time, Nightcall was played on repeat. He got me into synthwave music and I started going to more electronic shows like Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Gost (RIP), The Midnight, Dance With The Dead, Boy Harsher, MATTE BLVCK, Ultra Sunn, and many others. 2026 Genesis G70 3.3T AWD Sports Prestige | 365 HP Twin Turbo | 0-60 in 4.5 secs | MPG lol | Only Smiles Per Hour It’s been a month since I got a new car and it definitely feels incredible driving a fast car. I was telling people that I was going to get a new car in case my other car got rekt and lo behold it did. It was involved in a six car wreck and I wasn’t in it. I woke up to the sheriff department knocking on my door and asking me to check outside. I opened my balcony door to see a huge scene outside. Some dumbass forgot to switch from Reverse to Drive gear when backing out of a lot and ended up hitting five cars including mine. I got their insurance to pay for the damage in full and it got repaired after a month. However, I don’t feel comfortable driving it so I won’t be using it much. I might drive it to the city since the pot holes are bad. The Genesis G70 is an incredible car with insane technology such as remote start from my Apple Watch! I can take pictures of my surroundings using the Genesis app when I’m away from it. The navigation system is much better than Apple CarPlay and so is the media player. The sound system is so sick too. The heads up display tells me what speed I’m going at, the speed limit, and turn signal from the navigation. When it is dark outside or in the garage, the mirror opens when you approach it and the Genesis logo light turns on! As for the performance, you can switch between Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ modes. When you switch to Sport mode, the lumber in the seat compresses your back and the steering wheel becomes tighter. The lane and steering wheel assist come handy when you are driving at high speeds and you don’t feel like you are losing control. I always wonder how people lose control when they drive a fast car. I feel safe driving this car but I’m more responsible than most people. The paddle shifters on the steering wheel are cool too. I feel alive when I’m driving on Sport+ mode. I’ve driven 1200 miles so far and I think I’ll approach 10K really soon. So far, I’m enjoying this ride. #genesis #genesisg70 #g70 #genesismotors #mygenesis by @3xil3d
