Back in a 997 where I belong.

2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4. Guards Red on black with a proper 6 speed manual gearbox.

Thank you @collectiveauto for another (3rd) enjoyable buying experience. This is far from the last.

WE ARE SO BACK!

2003 996 turbo with some tasteful mods. Thank you @collectiveauto for helping me find this gem. 5 months without a Porsche was 5 months too long. Can’t wait to put many miles on this prefect drivers car.

@417porsche has arrived. People that know me and people that follow me here know this has been the dream since I was a child.

Thank you to @collectiveauto for the best buying experience imaginable. Kory is a car guy’s car guy and a new friend I’m grateful to have have met.

The M3 is gone for those asking. We had a great run and it will be a car/build that I’ll never forget. But the only thing worthy of replacing it has arrived. I couldn’t be happier.

This particular car is a 2009 997.1 turbo. One of only 226 manual coupes imported to the US in 2009. Last year of the Hans Mezger designed motor, and only year of the 997 you could get the 997.2 interior updates with the Mezger engine. 6 speed manual gearbox, you already know.

Follow me on my Porsche journey!

Was driving last night and started pondering if I had an unlimited budget car collection, what would be the first 10 cars in my collection?

While on the porcelain throne I came up with these 10 in no particular order-

Singer Porsche 964
Porsche 959
Porsche 997 GT2RS
Porsche 997 GT3RS 4.0
Porsche Carrera GT
Ferrari F40
Porsche 992 S/T
Ford GT
Porsche 993 Carrera RS
Gunther Werks F26

Which one is your favorite? What would you change about this list? by @417porsche

My car as an RWB build. How do we feel about RWB’s? I kinda dig them. Unique. Yes it’s triggering for the purists but it’s called art, you wouldn’t understand.

20 years ago my dad said he was going to buy a 911. Didn’t know it was going to take 20 years and me buying 3 for him to finally pull the trigger. Couldn’t be happier for him.

2025 992.2 911 Carrera S in a great spec. GT silver on red.

I don’t normally like red, but when I do, it’s guards red.
