@yangxishenger ‘s solo exhibition “Dreaming Soul”will be held at 42 Art Space from December 14, 2024 to January 14, 2025.

Yang Xisheng‘er’s cartoon style is undoubtedly a highly artistic and emotional way of expression. She cleverly combines colors, text and cartoon elements to create a visual universe that is both intuitive and thought-provoking. This creative method not only shows her unique personal perception of the world, but also constructs a visual field that is both childlike and profound through her careful blending, which effectively stimulates the viewer‘s emotional resonance and deep thinking.

Use of color: She likes to choose bright and warm colors as the keynote, giving her works a naive coat. The carefully selected colors accurately create a specific spatial atmosphere, and the rainbow-like brilliant colors are like dancing on the canvas, guiding the audience’s visual path to find the theme focus on the picture at the first time. This undisguised color expression directly touches the softest part of the human heart and conveys a simple and strong sense of beauty. The artist uses color as a medium to honestly show his inner world, allowing viewers to feel a positive attitude towards life while appreciating it - the courage to pursue the truth and actively embrace every color and possibility in life. Such works are pleasing to the eye and can also feel a warm healing from the bottom of the heart, inspiring people‘s yearning and pursuit for a better life.
