Gratitude 4️⃣4️⃣

I want to leave a long caption about what year 5️⃣ meant to me but I can’t really put it into words still. One thing for certain I can share is that when you are striving for a vision that only you can see will come with a price. That price comes in a form of a spiritual experience. Battles of what you have control of & what you can’t control. There is a high level of emotional intelligence thru God that falls in place to keep moving forward.

Year 5️⃣ reflects every bit of how great God truly is. Not our will….but God will was done even thru the individuals that thought they could slow the vision down. The spirit of New Orleans basketball is alive & I will tell you a story all about it. Chapter 5️⃣ of Up Next Elite Camp is closed & who knows if this book will ever open up again. Grateful for EVERY single person that poured passion, love, and commitment to the UpNext village. My prayer is that God bless you beyond your imagination for showing up for us. Love to the village that keep showing up and showing unconditional love in a real way to make sure the camp is ran with excellence.

Love to my dawgs for locking in on a vision for 5 straight years. Being real examples of MEN collaborating & diving into something greater then self to push the game of basketball forward in a city we from. No money grab situation just doing God work thru IMPACT 🤝🏾 🖤⚜️

YEAR 5. WHAT A WEEKEND. ❤️‍🔥

This may have been our best year yet.

The PLAYERS were elite.
The COACHES were elite.
The NBA PROS were elite.
The ENERGY in the gym was different.

But more than anything, the PEOPLE made Year 5 special.

We don’t take one moment for granted. For five years, so many people have poured their time, passion, knowledge, resources and love into the vision of UPNEXT Elite Camp and Year 5 was a reflection of every seed that has been planted along the way.

With so many camps and events happening that weekend, 70 young men chose to step into the UPNEXT Village to compete, learn, be challenged and GET BETTER. We are beyond grateful for every family that trusted us with their child.

A special thank you to our family sponsor, Sean Blondell Law Firm, for consistently believing in and pouring into this vision. Your support through the years means more than words can express.

Major love and appreciation to Ja Morant & NIKE for making sure our campers and coaches stayed fresh all weekend in NIKE gear and for lacing our coaches with the best shoes in the land! The love and support shown to the UPNEXT Village was felt throughout the entire weekend. 🤝🏾❤️‍🔥

A huge thank you to @gwc_athletics for opening its doors and allowing us to call your gymnasium home for Year 5. We’re grateful for the hospitality and for providing a space where so many special moments were created throughout the weekend. 🏀🙏🏾

To every coach, NBA professional, mentor and person who gave their time and shared their knowledge with these young men our prayer is that the passion you poured into others comes back to you in ways you could never imagine.

Much love to our media team led by @lynnestouch for capturing the moments and telling this story the right way. Shoutout to @_proinsight and @jerina_madayag for continuing to show us love and support as well.

Five years of building.
Five years of relationships.
Five years of pouring into the next generation.

YEAR 5 WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

This is bigger than basketball.

It’s about moving the game forward THE RIGHT WAY, with the RIGHT PEOPLE.

To everyone who has been part of this journey. THANK YOU ❤️ by @44.courts

Some moments deserve more than a highlight… they deserve to be documented.

Episode 2 takes you inside the environment we’ve worked relentlessly to build at UPNEXT Elite Camp.

From Ja Morant breaking down how he reads ball screens and processes the game in real time, to behind-the-scenes access, elite competition, high-level teaching from professional players and coaches, player interactions, powerful moments, and the passion that fills the gym. This episode captures what it truly feels like to be part of the experience.

Every drill has a purpose.
Every conversation has value.
Every detail matters.

Our mission has never been to simply host a basketball camp. It’s to create an environment where the next generation can compete, grow, ask questions, build relationships, and learn directly from professionals who have reached the highest level of the game.

This isn’t just a recap.

It’s a look inside what an elite environment truly feels like.

🎬 Episode 2 drops soon.

Sometimes you gotta go head to head with that voice within that try to distract you.

We won’t pretend like every thought is positive….but if something flow thru the mental that’s not according to God will which it does.. I go into fitness mode & whatever it is the soft voice is saying in the midst.

In this moment when I don’t feel like doing absolutely nothing because of what the grind & sacrifice has been the last few months… THAT voice came in like “go get a run in” … I’m like mannnnnnn…. aiteee.

There is a price for being great. Sometimes that price is paying the moment with the intent of being the best version of yourself & choosing discipline which can become expensive. Each push up we do make us stronger. Just like choosing gratitude & obedience consistently gives the spirit endurance for the journey.

God is da greatest.

The real work begins in the now..

Why? Because there have been moments that gave me every right to think negative because what things felt like…. but God gives direction in the chaos. The supreme key is not forgetting what directions was given to you long after it was given.

Each chapter carries a story. In striving for excellence beyond what the moment may feel like takes a certain level of focus, movement & an aligned spirit. This has to be an elite level of discipline. Most importantly a certain level of people to have around you at its appointed time. Always remember once you’ve been giving direction never fall in love with the distraction.

The distraction comes in manyyyyy different ways and some are the habits we been loving on for a very long time. The direction then introduce us to sacrifice. Sacrificing from anything that doesn’t align us with the direction. May we all continue to surround ourself with the ones that keep us going in the right direction to accomplish the mission/purpose that was tailored made for us.

God is the greatest 🧘🏾‍♂️

Sometimes the most meaningful moments start with a conversation, belief, and vision.

A glimpse of a special moment with @maliworld13 at the Up Next Elite Camp — speaking life and later witnessing it all come into fruition. In year 3 of his pro career God open a door for him to accomplish a life long dream and he just getting started.

More perspectives. More stories. More impact.

It’s that time of the year again… The Twelve Time village has something special brewing & I’m beyond grateful to be a vessel in being apart of a product that’s being done the right way. Building young men & women up in becoming the best version of themselves both on & off the court. Time will tell 🕛
