Our wedding rentals at 440 Elm allow access for the full day - allowing couples who are doing a first look to have the time for photos with each other and family so that they can be more present during the cocktail hour and reception.

The extended time also allows for more elaborate installations like the floral and greenery extending to our columns.

Wedding heels built like professional DANCE shoes — on 11-time Dancing with the Stars pro Anna Trebunskaya.

Finally, a professional dance shoe with a street sole. Which means you can wear it outside: patio, terrace, stone, the whole reception.

Suede sole for wood floors and studios, street sole for pavement and everywhere else — you pick for the floor your night actually happens on.

The rest is exactly what a dance shoe is supposed to be: flexible sole for natural movement, arch support, dense cushion, and a stable heel that doesn't argue with you mid-turn. Full Walking on Sunshine routine, no shoe change.

The Blue & White Floral Ballroom, doubling as her something blue. Buttery premium leather, handmade in Portugal.

Something blue, something you can spin in. LUNASOLDANCE.COM

Comfortable wedding heels built like professional DANCE shoes — so you never have to just walk through the best night of your life.

Or any night.

Flexible sole so your foot actually moves. Arch support and cushioning so hour six feels like hour one. A suede or street sole that lets you spin instead of gripping the floor.

Wedding shoe. Bridesmaid shoe. Date night shoe. Shoe you forgot you had on at 2am.

Handmade in Portugal. Aisle to afterparty.

Much to celebrate today. A day celebrating freedom first and foremost. A great victory for US Soccer, and apparently National Martini Day to give us the beverage of choice.

We love a good chocolate espresso martini. Cold brewed espresso with our drip tower is slower but amazing and has incredible aroma. Available tray passed, with our martini cart, or at the bar.

For dessert, a tiramisu tower in martini glasses.

How do we make sure your service team is a well oiled machine during a live event? We take the time to sketch out the plating line in front and back of house and practice ahead of the guests showing up.

It’s how we’re able to provide crisp event-specific service approaches for events of all shapes and sizes. It’s not memory…there’s no magic. it’s great people, battle-tested process, and event-specific practice.

A grazing table for a larger conference offsite event designed to look fresh and plentiful from the first guest to the 300th.

A double sided approach was used with variety on the different sides, including a fresh honeycomb display. This allows guests to engage from multiple angles with the display greeting them in a central location in the center of the action. Menus with clear labels allowed guests to navigate preferences and dietary concerns. Use of trays and risers allow for replenishment to keep stations looking composed and fresh while providing height and variation. Greenery and decor break the station up and add life and color.

Talk to us about an event design that incorporates stationary displays like a grazing table with bar, passed appetizers, and chef stations to create a comprehensive program designed with intention.

Our venue @440elm is in downtown Long Beach and can hold up to 1100 indoor and outdoor. Our catering company @bitecatering brings the same level of design thinking to catered events to your event across the Los Angeles and Orange County area.

A peek into the after party. After dinner, the white walls and coffered ceiling become a canvas for a light show as the DJ takes over. Whether projection mapping, uplights, or a rigged lighting set, the room comes alive with gobos, light, music, and energy!

As an indoor reception venue with thick historic masonry walls, 30' coffered ceilings, and a large A/C system, we offer a late night party (until 1am) with the feeling of space combined with the comforts and security of climate control.

A dessert table increasingly is joining the wedding cake (sometimes as a cutting cake) as part of the sweets section of a wedding, which may be presented with the cake or incorporated into a late night snack.

Couples get the ceremony and photos of a cake. They can also use the dessert bites to showcase favorites or add elements that map back to culture and memory. Guests get more variety and the chance to sample more things as they recharge from the action on the dance floor.

Wedding couples need to make sure to eat on the big day - it’s easy to get pulled in a million different directions.

We work with our couples build breaks into the timeline and make sure to send VIP servers with appetizers and drinks to make sure they get quiet moments to refresh and replenish their energy (as well as enjoy the food they selected). taken in 440 Elm by @440elm
