What’s up FAMU family!✝️

Tuesday, October 6th from 6:30pm-8pm we are bringing a new definition to Taco Tuesdays🌮. We’re introducing Taco’s & Testimonies! A fun way for brothers to come and fellowship over God’s word while enjoying a great meal.

Our goal is to create a consistent space of learning, curiosity, and fellowship for men that are actively pursuing Christ, curious about him, or just looking for a band of brothers. No matter where you’re at in your walk, you’re welcome to join!

Lastly, we are having a raffle! The only requirement for entry is showing up to Taco’s & Testimonies! Gifts will be announced closer to the date😎. Please RSVP using link in our bio!

This name was assigned to you by your late grandfather

This name is spiritual, and is in the Bible, Pa Pa showed me exactly where

I was told never to dare
to dream too big ….
for big dreams come out exactly how they seem….

when you were small, the dreams that I dreamt back then , now put a smile on my forefront within ….

I always knew that you were courageous and very much outspoken….

The stories that your cousins tell me today, let me know that you have always been awoken …..

never asleep you always stayed upbeat…

They used to call you, Uncle Jachin , some even say you were kind of mean .

Most say you thought that you were everyone’s daddy….

But I say that you were making sure that your Bros didn’t get into that Patty …. Wagon that is

See you were wise like way before your years ….

You always wiped away the tears of anyone who was hurting….

I saw something different …. the King that you were designated to be, the soldier for the Lord to represent the youth .

I’m blessed that you are not one of these fallen soldiers who will be burning in hell

I’m so grateful that you are finding your light on this earth and sharing that light with others!

So I bet not see you hang your head no more , because you are HIM in every right and in every way !

Men need spaces where they can be honest.

On June 6th, almost 20 brothers gathered to move their bodies, create, reflect, pray, connect, and have conversations that don’t always happen in everyday life.

No performances. No pressure. No pretending.

Just real people showing up as themselves.

Thank you to every man who trusted us with this experience. It was beautiful to hear your stories, witness your vulnerability, and see everyone come together to simply breathe.

A special thank you to our incredible host and moderator, @solfullpoetry and @4802jb, for helping us create and hold space for these conversations!

This was our first Sol 2 Sol, but it won’t be our last!

We’re already preparing the next gathering for late summer/early fall, and we can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces into the circle.

We’ve assembled an incredible team of experienced facilitators to guide powerful conversations and transformative workshops throughout the day:
