AD: with @rejuall_official Do copper peptides make melasma worse? Short version: no evidence they do, no study proving they can’t, and the biology doesn’t support the fear. Your melanocytes control copper, they don’t take orders from your serum.

AD: I say “anti-ageing” because that’s what you type into the search bar. What I mean is keeping the cells I’ve got working for as long as I can. Six months on the @timeline_longevity Resurfacing Exfoliator, and it’s still my go-to: mandelic and lactic for the surface, Mitopure ( Urolithin A on the INCI ) for the half I can’t see.

does neutralising azelaic acid switch it off? No, and fellow cosmetic chemist @zobssssa made the same point in her video. What it does change is the form the acid is in, not whether it works, and Remedy measured the pH shifting back toward the acid within an hour on skin. 10% Azelaic acid, 5% PAD.
