New VBL Cup Champions 🚨 LA in a Minute 🏆

Big congrats to Amos and the squad for capturing the Cup and earning the belt. A true team effort that started on defense and converted all around!!

MVP @bnard21 was on another level—lighting it up from deep all day and putting the team on his back with MVP performance when it mattered most. Every round, every shot… he stayed on fire.

A legendary tournament and a well-earned championship that adds another chapter to the legacy of some real Venice vets.

Now the target is on their backs. 👀 Timeless is already plotting… who’s coming to take the Cup next week?

May 15, 2016 was the biggest day of our program. We were in the @undisputed_division Final 4 and 2 games away from becoming the 2nd team to be called the Undisputed Champions. We won the Final 4 game to make it to the championship where we played against the well respected and elite @newjerseysets squad. It was a battle from beginning all the way to the end where nobody could win in the 4th so it went into overtime. In overtime it was even more intense as we fouled their best player @thebookofmarc and gave him 3 shots with 0.6 seconds left and we were up 90-89. He made all the free throw and put them up 2 and that's when the magic happened. @itsmymoment4momo who wasn't supposed to play due to injury had to come in for @problemchild211 who fouled out. After the free throw he went to take get the ball to inbound it and saw @playbtplay make a juke and tell him to pass it. He gave him a pass a little bit ahead of him where he could catch it and throw it up in time for a shot and so he did...AND IT WENT IN BY THE BUZZER! This team had an up and down season but somehow was able to pull it together when it counted and become Champs...A memory we will always cherish! 🙌👏👏👏🏀🏆 #FREESTYLEHOOPS #SEASON3CHAMPIONS #FORTHELOVEOFTHEGAME #THEMOVEMENT #TBT by @4daluvofthegame

THE @lasvegasfilam CHAMPIONS PRESENTED BY @peachytheking 🙌🏼🏆

We needed 2 games to win it all. The Final 4 game we dominated with 4 of our 6 players in double digits led by @da_realgallo_negro600 who had 9 3 pointers (most in a playoff game)ending with 29 points and 8 rebounds(averaged 26pts in 2 games). In the championship game we took the lead and never looked back. Even though we had 5 of our 6 players in double digits it was @sn33kytony who was completely unstoppable with 43 points and 24 rebounds (averaged 29pts,20rbds in 2 games)being rightfully named Finals MVP.
While @itsmymoment4 (averaged 14pts,6assts,6rbds)@dbucks.wrld (averaged 13pts,4assts,4rbds)and @problemch1ld22 (averaged 12pts,6asst,6rbds)all played major roles it was @john.glasper.35 (averaged 7pts,10assts,7rbds)who was the key. He was the leader telling players where to be running the offense and making huge plays. Shoutout to our guys who worked hard to make this happen. They deserve it! Huge thanks to the league for having us and allowing us to be apart of such a great league.
We did it all…undefeated season, season mvp, finals mvp, and at the end…CHAMPIONS! WAY TO GO SQUAD! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🏀🏆💯 #LASVEGASFILAM #CHAMPIONS #FTLOTG

Been through so much in the past 3 years. Lost my Uncle Mark, nephew Christopher, and so many other challenges. But the one thing that stayed consistent to me was basketball. I always could come back to it, and I’ll forever be grateful coming back to @veniceball 🙏🏼 Check out my story on my page. If you get inspired leave a follow. What’s better the audio or the dunk!
At 34 I’m so thankful to be able to play the game i love !!

Greats assist from @lastname_jamar33

Had a blast playing with our @itsmymoment3 @lainaminute squad looking forward to playing more this summer !

this was my first endgame dunk since injuring my knee a few months ago, so it was really awesome to be able to move, especially jumping off 1 foot which I haven’t really done since college so this felt awesome
