The spring sprung, spent patience testing amount of it in bed, looks romantic in pics and i did enjoy executing many different hairstyles and practicing other activities associated with all the fine ladies in Jane Austen novels, but also lost a lot of money&muscle, which the not so fine lady in me finds most unfortunate & unsexy. Ready for a Gandalf size comeback 🪾 by @4hannas

Self-portrait aka selfie 1.1.2026.
My new year’s tradition is spending the night alone, going to sauna & burning some whishes at midnight in the forest/snow. This year was no exception, and then i woke up early on the first day off the year, and decided i want to dress up fancy and go strut around a bit, and oh boy i strutted.

I know these views so thoroughly, every tree and shape and colour and distance, and still everytime when back at homehome feel so moved when gazing at them.

Misty morning walk from this summer, straight from bed just rainboots and pyjamas and a sweater, out out out before breakfast or any big thoughts had time to enter my body.
Some small dripping, chirping and rustling sounds but mostly just quiet and stillness.
And i feel connected to these photos now cause i think that thanks to that end of summer i have walked so so lightly all autumn and now winter. Standing still in the middle of uncertainty, when the urge is to move or even run, peaceful in the haze, waiting, not trying to solve what you cant see yet, has been the best lesson ever.

Inventing stories about forests since ninety ??
Methodologies might have developed a little but budget & the DIY spirit is still the same.
Might do a revival of the fox costume and bring back the mushroom/flower props & I think the scenography of the green shal as moss was quite a success too.
The original performance was made for my grandma’s 60th birthday party, the revival doesnt have a premiere date yet, cross fingers it will have one next year! by @4hannas

The only place where the I gets to disappear, where my story suddenly doesnt matter, where the borders of one’s identity become soft as the moss and ever changing as the forms of the forest, the only place where i have ever (to an extent), felt whole.
Sorry for the sentimentality but thats just what the trees (and mushrooms & moss & berries & birds & spideys & sticks & rocks &&&&&..) does to a person ♻️ by @4hannas

Weaved my first ever carpet last summer at home in Fineland, accompanied by one ”Pikku-Matti”radio which had about two functioning stations to choose from and the occasional cup of coffee & blueberrypie at the porch.
Now im laying on the floor on top of this first ever carpet at my Bcn home, wishing that weaving through life could be equally easy.
I kinda just improvised/winged the whole thing, but I think it turned out quite nice and just fitting to my little attic mouse’s home..
And anyway, the ”doing” has always been more important for me in every artesanal/somatic practice than the result. Through the practice I find peace of mind and a way of connecting to the present moment, which otherwise quite often feels difficult to me to grasp. It feels comforting to have a ”place” to be in, to habit, when mostly I just feel like I’m drifting endlessly around in my life, not having a purpose or direction towards to go to. To work with and through the body is only possible if you connect to the intuition and form some kind of instant decition making guidelines. It is also somehow wierdly relieving/calming to be able to see one’s mistakes right when they happen, and to be able to fix or accept them then and there..
So yeei looking forward to weaving my second ever carpet this summer and maybe while organizing the threads I’ll get my life somehow organized too 🤞🏻 by @4hannas
