🏉 DID THE WALLABIES BEAT THE SPRINGBOKS ON WHAT SHOULD BE THEIR STRENGTHS? The Mahala Sports Banter team moved beyond the final score and unpacked the technical details behind Australia’s 42–38 victory. The Wallabies challenged the Boks in the air, turned pressure into points and punished mistakes in much the same way South Africa had punished the All Blacks. The team also questioned the Springbok selection, squad depth and decision-making during those frantic closing minutes. Should the Boks have carried the ball instead of kicking? 😂 WHEN THE ACTION BEHIND THE SCENES STEALS THE SHOW! The Mahala Sports Banter team and special guest Kurt Schoonraad had a field day unpacking the mishaps both on and off the field. Dugald’s prediction was Springboks by 20 or 30 points, oh boy was he so wrong. The result was Australia 42, South Africa 38. First, credit where it is due, well played to the Wallabies. Then came the referee discussions, the on-field confusion and the unexpected towel drama happening behind the pre-match broadcast. The Boks attacked from everywhere: line-outs, scrums and open play.
