In the tears you finally let fall without shame. In reclaiming your name, your voice, your space. Magic is recognizing yourself in the mirror again, even with bags under your eyes, even with scars. Magic is understanding that being gentle isn't weakness, and that survival is also a form of strength. It is choosing yourself, not because it's easy, but because you're worth it. Life remains sharp. Scars don't disappear. But you wear them differently. Not as evidence of what you lost, but of who you became. And maybe that's what being a girl is all about: falling, breaking, losing yourself, and yet, again and again, finding the courage to come back. With open hands. With a heart full of cracks where the light shines right through.
