When the birthday cake becomes the centrepiece of the entire celebration…

A little touch of Disney magic, designed entirely around Maya’s special day.
This bespoke three tier Mickey & Minnie Mouse birthday cake was created in soft blush pinks, white and pops of classic Disney red with every tier telling its own little story.
From the oversized Minnie inspired bow and personalised name, to the tiny doors, windows, hearts, rainbow and beautifully detailed Mickey & Minnie figures, this cake was designed to be discovered from every angle.
And because a luxury celebration deserves more than just one showstopper, we created a fully coordinated dessert tableto match including handcrafted themed cookies, cake pops and matching sweet treats, all bringing the same colour palette and details together.
The result? A dessert table that feels less like a collection of treats and more like part of the party styling itself.
At 4S Cakes, every celebration cake is bespoke and made to order, with the design created around your theme, colours and vision. From elaborate children’s birthday cakes to complete dessert tables, we create statement pieces for celebrations across London, Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge and beyond.

How to make a three tier cake
From cake board to beautiful three-tier wedding cake…
In today’s reel, I’m taking you behind the scenes and showing you step by step how I make and assemble a three-tier wedding cake.
I start by carefully lowering the base tier onto the cake board, making sure everything is positioned correctly before moving on to the next stage. From stacking and securing the tiers, to creating the intricate buttercream piping, adding the soft pink and white floral details and finishing with the beautiful Mr & Mrs topper every little detail comes together to create the finished wedding cake.
I love watching a wedding cake transform from individual tiers into one complete, elegant centrepiece.
If you’re planning your wedding and looking for bespoke wedding cake ideas, elegant buttercream wedding cakes or three-tier wedding cake inspiration, I hope this gives you a little insight into the work that goes into creating one.

A sweet Miss Rachel inspired first birthday cake

This is an all buttercream cake with handmade fondant details, featuring a soft pastel rainbow ombré effect on the bottom tier and a beautiful blush pink buttercream finish on top.

The little rainbows were completely handmade from fondant. I coloured each piece individually, measured the fondant, then hand-rolled, shaped and layered every strip before leaving them to dry.

It took around 30 minutes each just to create a rainbow a small detail, but one that makes such a difference to the finished design.

I love the combination of smooth buttercream and carefully handmade fondant details. It’s all about those little touches that make a bespoke cake feel truly special.

Creating this bespoke luxury cake was such a joy. Designed for a very special birthday celebration, every element was handcrafted to capture the beauty of a tropical Hawaiian paradise.
From hand painting the surfboards, ocean waves and sunset, to carefully creating the handmade hibiscus and frangipani flowers, every detail was designed with precision and artistry. To complete the dessert table, I also made 30 matching cupcakes and 30 cake pops, all perfectly coordinated with the tropical theme.
It’s these handcrafted details that transform a cake into more than just a dessert, they create the centrepiece of a celebration and memories that last long after the last slice has been enjoyed.
Thank you to my wonderful client for trusting me with such a special celebration.
If you’re looking for a luxury bespoke cake in London, whether it’s for a birthday, wedding, baby shower or another special occasion, I’d love to bring your vision to life with a completely custom design.
