I wasn’t meant to play the violin 🎻
Not where I’m from…Not how I play it.
They told me stick to sports.
I kept going anyway.

THE FOUR-STEP PLAN

I’ve always had a four-step plan…. 🌹🎻

1️⃣ First was education. Get as good as I possibly could at the thing I chose to do. 2️⃣ Second was service: add value to other people’s worlds, whether that meant records, sessions, tours or helping artists bring their ideas to life……That chapter put me in rooms with people I used to listen to on the bus to school, and eventually on tour buses beside them. You learn a lot from that kind of movie.

3️⃣ The third stage is where I am now: performance. Building my own world, on my own terms, and exploring just how far the 4STRINGSZ EXPERIENCE can go!

4️⃣ The fourth is still being written, but I know it involves the next generation.

My mission has never really changed: broaden what people think a violinist can be, how the instrument can sound, and where a skill like this can take you. Im still just that same young kid from croydon when I play.

Still evolving - 4s UP - LOVE 🌹🎻 #violinistuk #4stringsz taken in Croydon, United Kingdom by @4stringsz

Till this day people comment “ why does 4STRINGSZ hold the bow wrong? or his left hand is incorrect”

Those rules don’t even exist in my world! 😃🎻

Most people look at a violin and only hear classical music…..& Somewhere along the way, we became so obsessed with everything BUT reason music exists:

to make people feel.

This is a special moment with me and the amazing bride @aesthetics.byalexandra 💍!

Recently, I designed the RS70 Collection, created in collaboration with my Marj using her original Nsibidi artwork, reimagined across West African Adire Fabric.

The colour at the heart of this collection means a lot to me and my brothers and our immediate family. It’s the colour we wore to primary school, the colour of the car that took us there, and a colour woven through some of the earliest moments that shaped who we became… this why I wear the hat by the way 🎯

It is also the colour of regal effervescence, power and humble wins. ( Victor la dorum )

With RS70, I wanted to take something personal and give it a new form. My mother’s art, my heritage, early memories, translated through my own design language.

A collection built from where we come from, and shaped by where we’re going.

The mad thing about making music is it all exists in your head before it exists anywhere else. Now it’s real & I can’t wait to share it with you. 🎻 #NTM taken in Coming soon by @4stringsz

Some moments can’t be rehearsed 🌹🎻

My favourite part of the 4 EX It’s watching people stop what they’re doing, smile, dance, laugh and become part of the performance seamlessly.

Every event has its own energy. My job is simply to harness it.

Refined events aren’t about playing the notes perfectly. They’re about creating a moment people remember.

A pleasure to serenade @bobbobricard for the 4th decade of Julian 🌹🎻 - The goal is not just live violin performance, but to shape the entire sonic journey for the evening.. Con min hermano @ryanramus

From bespoke music designed specifically for this room, to carefully curated playlisting, to interactive moments like “Guess The Song”, every decision was built around the energy of the guests and the flow of the eve.

This is where the 4STRINGSZ EXPERIENCE differs from entertainment agencies. I cannot simply arrive, play a set, and bounce. I treat music as part performance, part sound design, adapting in real time to the room, the conversations, the reactions, and the atmosphere as it evolves.

The result? Spontaneous moments that cannot be recreated.

Congratulations to the celebrant. And the incredible people who put this together. 🌹🎻

Nobody expected the final request @officialgiggs 🎻

I love finding a way to play unconventional songs whilst maintaining a touch of class - This is the 4STRINGSZ experience.
