Introducing the universal chuck tool! This tool can be used as a standalone tool centered on the wheel with clay or can be used with the multipurpose bat system on the 5 inch slot.

This tool is unique because it is completely customizable based on need. The top has a threaded groove where lid inserts can twist in and slide into place creating a new opening to trim on. This opens up a variety of possibilities for trimming if you need to trim a special bottle neck vase, trim a piece that needs a little extra support, or just a plain cylinder to get the job done.

Currently I have the basic lid, a bowl lid for shoulder support, and a small mouth lid for narrow neck pieces. Eventually, you will be able to make your own lids too!

Introducing the Bottle Trimmer Collection to my Etsy page 4SureCeramics! In addition to the classic 5 inch bottle trimmer there is now a 4 inch and a 3.5 inch variant to fill that gap for potters who make smaller vase/bottle forms where the 5 inch was a bit too wide or too tall.

These new additions to the crew also fit into the bat system! So if you already have a bat there is no need to purchase a new one as all previous owners can use it too. They are also designed as standalone chucks so you don’t even need a bat to utilize them. There is also a wider range of colors available for all attachments and bats. Stay tuned for more!

New Bat System! As some of you have seen on my Instagram story feed I have been in the process of developing my own bat system for the popular rim saver cones. I have sold over 50 sets of these rim saver cones! This motivated me to create a bat system that grandfathers early adopters as well as new users who are also interested in the system too. This bat utilizes the handles built into the cones for easy swapping for trimming and now, easy swapping for the bat to ensure it doesn’t rock or pop off. ONLY FOR 10 INCH WHEEL PINS. This is due to my printer print space. But the way the cones were originally designed you can still center them yourself with clay! The cones and the bat system are made from scratch with my own designs starting from TinkerCad in combination with Blender to make sure that the models are properly aligned and centered. This new bat is now available on my Etsy shop 4SureCeramics. Stay tuned for a special announcement in the near future 📦

Bottle Trimming Tool is now available on my Etsy page! Supposed to help trim bottles and neck forms with with ease 😎This tool can work on its own with some tap centering securing it with clay or it can also be used with the modular and/or plain bat system as seen in the pictures. Currently the opening is 4.2 inches wide and the internal neck diameter is 2.8 inches wide but I can adjust this. :)

Launching a new attachment! These are polishing/sanding add ons. They can be used on their own secured with clay or with my bat systems. This tool is made to assist with putting the final touches on your pottery cleaning up rough bottoms and to go the extra mile by polishing them too.

I have a version for blocks and a version for pads. The blocks fit snug and the pads attach with velcro! As some may have seen with my latest pieces I have been sanding and polishing them using these tools for the past couple months. With it, going up the grits getting the bottoms of my mugs nice and shiny has made the process much more enjoyable and accessible.

New attachment! This is for taller and slimmer vase forms like oil bottles. For when the typical bottle trimmer may be too wide and too short for the task this one is much more narrow and can hold those taller pieces in place for getting those final touches in.

This attachment as well as all of the others can be used as a standalone chuck centered and held with clay or can be used with my bat system (sold separately) for on the go centering. It is available on my Etsy 4SureCeramics!

Sanding and polishing video. I forgot to post here from TikTok as I’ve been busy the past couple weeks. Here I am just smoothing the bottom of a mug starting at 60 grit and going up to 7000 to where the bottom reflects light and feels like glass. These are attachments I designed myself but the blocks can be sourced from most hardware stores or online shop. I do this process for all of my pottery as it’s satisfying for me and hopefully satisfying for the customer. Enjoy.
