Today's happy peets belong to...💅

Colt the German Shepherd💥

Colt sat through his nail trim like a champ! Well actually he plopped right into a down on the grass and was amazing and very patient. 10/10 a good boy during nail trims.

Nail trims are important to your pups health. Why not make them easy?

* My favorite tool to use while trimming is a dremel - you get the cleanest and closest cut
*The easiest position for your dog to hold is a relaxed down - this ensures you get the best view, and they're as calm as possible
*Take your time and you can always reward with a treat for them holding still and being patient

What do we feed?

Quality, convenient, and affordable...
Usually, people would tell you that you have to pick two of the three options listed above.

After countless hours of price checking and comparing ingredients I have found the most nutritious, easily served, and greatest bang for my buck!

With @northwestnaturals.pdx @stevesrealfood @honestkitchen I found it possible to feed Ranger and Billie the best diet that works for my pockets and their bellies 🐕💖

Billie plays a huge part in why I originally wanted to become a dog trainer. We go as far back as 2017, when I spent a lot of time at 501c3 no-kill non-profit shelter in New Mexico. I worked many hours, both paid and volunteering. I had two jobs because a few hundred dollars wasn't enough to support the lifestyle I lived. So in order to keep working with animals I also worked fast food. I tend to overly fill my plate, so I was also attending college as a full time student.

After moving as many states north as possible and several animal jobs later I've always had one thing in mind... I knew I wanted to help dogs more than anything.

Long story short, I never finished my degree and I haven't worked in food service for awhile now but I'm well on my way to doing what I love and that's training dogs to help dogs like her and owners who feel like they don't know where to turn next.
