After 6 really awful days between these two, they are now best buds. Hunter has made a world of difference in Sakari’s life. He has shown her she can safely nap in the living room, so she no longer hides all day under my desk, in my office. She’s not as quick to attack the dogs either! Quan’s really happy about that, as he wouldn’t walk past her, in a hall or doorway, for fear of Sakari’s slash and burn reaction to him. My 40# 11.5 yo Toller is afraid of a 14# cat. Brahhhhh. Don’t tell him I secretly laugh at him about that. 🤫 Everyday Sakari gets braver and more friendly. She likely will never be a lap cat, but she’s now a happy cat. Now if I could just convince Hunter that biting me isn’t cool. 🙀 We are a very happy, wonderfully complete, family now. #rescuekitties by @4tollers

This is Hunter. My new rescue baby. He’s about 3.5 months old and a wild child. Sakari was accustomed to living in a colony and was showing some loneliness. Sooooo I decided to get her a furiend. This is day 2. So far, it’s not a huge success, as Sakari is all hiss/spit/slash about him. I feel this is going to be great for both of them, once Sakari adjusts to having said furiend. Wish us a short adjustment period for the kitties and then the kitties and the dogs! Crazy time here now 🤪Welcome to both my new kitties, Sakari and Hunter. by @4tollers

After losing Lily, I knew I needed kitty energy back in my home. One evening 2 months ago I was looking on Petfinder and saw this beautiful girl. I knew she needed to be my kitty. Sakari was part of a cat colony at a dairy farm, who was Avery friendly girl, so the farmer wanted her in a home. 😻. 🐕🐉🐲🐾🐾 by @4tollers

My beautiful Lily has lost her battle with bladder cancer. She fought so hard, but she’d gone from 15lbs down to 7 and had left too many meals only partly eaten the last few days. It was time to let her go. God speed, my warrior. 💔💕 The first picture is her in better days, several years ago. The rest are recent photos. She had become quite the garage mouser in the last 3 months, very proudly announcing, in a very loud voice, I got another *+#%{🐭} Mom, then releasing them into the house, to “play” with. Birthday girl having her favorite nosh. Bully sticks!! Haia loves them. Pix 3 is Quan, getting his Her Birthday treat. Haia is 7 today. 4 yrs and 2 months after being diagnosed with severe AutoImmune Hemolitic Anemia, that her Drs weren’t sure she’d survive. She showed them! My old man, Quinn and his sister, Tuli are together again. He fought hard, but there was no way for him to beat heart cancer. The Vet said he had days to a few months, 10

My bestie, @madigan_again has a new baby! Meet Hudson Grey, 11 week old Westie girl, don’t let her name fool you. 😉 What a brave puppy, this brief collapse was after exploring every inch of my home and both of my dogs and just doing silly puppy stuff. Heartbreak seems a daily occurrence. Several weeks ago, my old Raggie girl Lily was diagnosed with TCC bladder cancer. She is still eating well and happy, so it’s one day at a time. Sad times at Teptuli Tollers, I lost my sweet, naughty Tuli in May and am now facing the loss of both Lily and Quinn in the very near future. They just don’t get to stay with us long enough. Hug you fur children hard tonight, love them fiercely and completely. 🐕🐉🐲🐾🐾 by @4tollers

Prayers needed for my old man. I got a call at 6:00am this morning. Quinn had collapsed after going outside to pee and needed to go to the ER@immediately. 1 hour later we were told Quinn has fluid around his heart and a heart wall tumor. The fluid turned out to be blood and the tumor is likely Hemangiosarcoma of the heart. There is little that can be done, except love the hell outa him for the short time he has left. I love you so much Quinn. 💕. 🐉🐲🐾🐾 by @4tollers
