I wasn’t out as a trans woman (and lesbian) to most people when I began transitioning in Summer 2021. October 11 that year, National Coming Out Day, wasn’t my day of queer exuberance. I was terrified of the unknown that was to come, four years ago.

I couldn’t hide my physical or emotional changes for much longer, as womanhood and my internal concept-of-self was starting to manifest externally with gender-affirming hormones. By the way - what a gift to humanity that trans and gender-bendy folks have HRT as an option, and what a shame it is to deny that lifeline to anyone. With some significant time now gone by, the joy in who I was meant to be manifests as just second nature these days. Of course, I fell in love with a nice gal along the way and moved in with her.

This journey of self-discovery is so wild to me. If I could say something to Whoever Created Willow (spiritually), it’d be “you have quite an interesting sense of humor” and “thank you for leading me on this path of transformation.”

My only regret in coming out and transitioning is that I didn’t start plucking my eyebrows sooner…

Nothing as timeless as going apple picking in the fall with boo @an.dream17 🥰🍎🌳

Stow, Mass.’s @honeypothillorchard looks better on film - all of these shot on a roll of Fuji 200 when we went yesterday (Thursday 10/1) 🎞️

#Noreaster coverage is how your local TV news camerawoman gets paid the medium bucks ☔️🎥

On Saturday morning, I checked out Duxbury, Brant Rock (Marshfield), Scituate, Quincy’s Wollaston Beach, and Fort Point in Boston for @nbc10boston! I love being out there getting salty so you don’t have to 🌊

Italian piazza was the initial expectation, so what led the new face of the North End to look this way?

ICYMI: @Alanis Morissette sends the @redrocksco crowd into a frenzy as she makes an appearance to sing “Uninvited” with @brandicarlile, the cover favorite of late on Brandi’s Human Tour.
