I don’t usually get this personal on the shop page, but today is a really hard and important day for me and my family. Today, August 9th, is my baby cousin Liam’s 5th birthday. 💙🕸️❤️

We lost Liam on June 10th, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words what losing him has done to our family. He was only 4 years old. He had so much life left to live, so many birthdays left to celebrate, and so many memories we were supposed to still make with him.

One thing that has been really important to me through all of this is making sure Liam’s name continues to be said and his memory continues to live on.

If you come into the shop, you’ll notice we recently added a bench in remembrance of him. 💙 That bench means so much more to me than somewhere for people to sit. It means Liam has his own little piece of the 508 now.

This shop is such a huge part of my life, and so many of you have watched it grow, supported me, brought your kids here, laughed with us, and became like family to us. So it only felt right that Liam became a permanent part of it too.

I hope everyone who walks through our doors knows just how loved that little boy is. I hope people see his name, ask about him, remember him, and help us keep his memory alive.

As much as this hurts, I never want the sadness of losing Liam to be the only thing that defines his story. I want his name to continue to be surrounded by love.

So today, we’re celebrating Liam. 🕊️

Happy 5th Birthday, my spidey boy. 💙🎂🕸️❤️
I wish more than anything that you were here to celebrate it with us.

Your name will always be spoken.
Your memory will always have a home here.
And you will ALWAYS be a part of the 508.

Forever 4. 💙
Happy Heavenly Birthday, Liam. 🕊️ by @508faderoom

This is what Sensory Safe haircuts look like 💈🖤
Sometimes we make it to the chair… sometimes we don’t. And that’s okay.

At 508 Fade Room, the goal isn’t forcing a haircut — it’s building trust, comfort, and confidence at YOUR pace. If that means Ash has to hit a full Spidey pose on the couch to get the job done… so be it 😂🕷️

Everybody deserves to feel safe, understood, and included during their experience. taken in 508 Fade Room Barbershop by @508faderoom
