Cruise ships at Victoria B.C. Canada. They start arriving in March and continue through until October. This year there were over 1 million cruise ship passengers that came to Victoria. The ships come from either Vancouver or Seattle and travel to Alaska. There is room for up to three ships at a time but it varies from one, two or three. by @50fordguy

The Norwegian Encore cruise ship coming into Victoria B.C. is lit up at sunset, 19:24 (7:24PM)...a silhouette tug guides the ship into port. The ship was launched in 2019, it's 1,094 feet long with a guest capacity of 3,998 and a maximum of 6,057...it's a floating city with all the many decks. It's Port of Registry is Nassau, Bahamas. by @50fordguy

And away they go, Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. with the help of two tugs. The Mexican Navy "Cuauhtémoc" Training Ship pulled away from Victoria for a trip to San Francisco. The ship has drawn a lot of people in Victoria to enjoy time to see what the ship is like. The people were very polite. by @50fordguy

Well, it's still here...the Mexican Navy "Cuauhtémoc" Training Ship is still at the Coast Guard wharfs. The only way I knew it was lit up or even here was because I live in Esquimalt and was out for a walk and I caught a glimpse of the ship from across the water. I cranked my walking steps up hoping I would get home for my camera in time for the photo...here it is. I was lucky getting the photo at the "blue hour" in the sky, which colours the ship as well. by @50fordguy

The Mexican Navy "Cuauhtémoc" Training Ship made a stop in Victoria B.C. September 12, during it's Pacific Voyage to train, connect and celebrate Canada-Mexico relations. The ship is 296 feet long which is called "sparred length". She will be leaving September 15 on it's 92-day international training voyage for the Mexican Navy. Looks like a difficult challenge to me with all the ropes and cables. by @50fordguy

Wild ducks keeping clean at a small lake in Victoria B.C.🇨🇦 Wild ducks are generally clean animals, often seen preening their feathers to maintain waterproofing and insulation. They prefer clean water sources for foraging and bathing which helps them stay healthy. by @50fordguy
