POSTS STORIES REELS

513Sips was born out of equal parts family, community, and a love for creating unforgettable experiences.

Growing up, there were constantly guests at the table; every holiday or random Saturday seemed to turn into a celebration that elevated friends into family. That tradition shaped me and is why amongst my friends, I'm known as "The Hub." Always the one planning or hosting and bringing people together. I carry that through my role as The President Of The Greater Cincinnati Penn State Alumni, the various charity events I organize and everything else in between.

What started as a fun family reflection grew into something bigger: a vision to create a mobile bar that brings those same feelings of connection and celebration wherever people gather. Now, I get to help others create those same unforgettable memories that they will cherish for the rest of their life.

At 513sips, every detail matters - whether it's the drinks, the decorations or the service, we make sure to make every event uniquely yours. by @513sips

Cocktail Spotlight: The Purple French 75

A good cocktail gives you something to talk about.

For our Greenacres speakeasy experience, we gave a classic French 75 a colorful twist. We infused our gin in a drip tower with butterfly pea tea, a floral tea that naturally adds color and changes shades when mixed with citrus. A little science behind that beautiful purple.

With the tea infusion and our housemade lemon syrup with fresh lemon juice, clarified to keep the finished color clear and vibrant, this cocktail got a little extra attention before the first sip.

That’s one of my favorite parts of creating a bar experience. Finding ways to make the drinks feel like they belong to the event. Sometimes it’s a flavor. Sometimes it’s the presentation. Sometimes it’s bringing a little chemistry to the bar.

Because what’s in your glass should be part of the experience, too.

A hidden 1920s cellar, three custom cocktails and one incredibly meaningful reason to bring it all together.

For Giving with Grace, @greenacresfoundation trusted 513Sips to create an intimate cocktail experience inside the Greenacres Arts Center’s historic Prohibition-era cellar.

On the menu: Apple Mapple Rum Sour, Purple French 75 and Old Fashioned

The drinks were fun. The setting was amazing. But the reason everyone gathered mattered most.

The Exploring with Grace Fund was created in memory of Grace Lewis and helps remove barriers so more kids can experience nature, agriculture and the arts at Greenacres. In 2025 alone, the fund served 2,267 learners through 113 programs and provided 3,568 meals.

I’m incredibly grateful I got to play a small part in this night. Thank you to the Greenacres team, the sponsors, donors and every person who helped make the evening possible.

This is the kind of work that reminds me why I started 513Sips: bringing people together and making moments matter.

Thanks to @drinkbigice for donating the ice for our drinks!

$6,674 raised for Last Mile Food Rescue!

That is enough to fund 266 food rescues and provide more than 20,000 meals to pantries, shelters and food banks across Cincinnati.

If you follow 513Sips but don’t know much about me outside of the bar, I also serve as president of the Greater Cincinnati Penn State Alumni Association. I’m incredibly proud of how this outing has continued to grow, and having 513Sips there as a sponsor brought two very important parts of my life together for a great cause.

Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, donor and volunteer who helped make this happen. I’m really proud of what we accomplished together! by @513sips

It’s 90° outside in Cincinnati, but we're ready for fall. 🍎🌻

Believe it or not, this is the same cocktail, just two completely different finishes.

For this one, I wanted to see how a fall cocktail built around apple, cinnamon and honey would change when I made it both ways.

On the left: the original — rich, spiced and noticeably full of apple flavor.

On the right: the same rich flavors, clarified.

If you’ve never heard of cocktail clarification, it’s a technique that removes much of the color and cloudiness from a cocktail while leaving the flavor behind. The result is a drink that looks almost crystal clear and drinks noticeably smoother.

Which one are you grabbing?

🌻 Orchard Bloom
1.5 oz Gin
1.5 oz Apple Cider
.5 oz Fresh Lemon
.5 oz Housemade Apple-Cinnamon-Honey Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

For Men’s Night at Madeira Swim & Tennis Club, 513Sips served two classic cocktails with a 513Sips twist:

- A Kentucky Mule made with house-made lime syrup, fresh lime, ginger beer and a hand-candied lime garnish
- An Old Fashioned featuring house-made orange syrup, bitters and a hand-candied orange garnish.

Because even a relaxed night at the pool deserves more than a basic mixed drink.

Meet the Lemon Doodle - Crafted exclusively for The Jordans’ wedding

We combined lemonade and prosecco with fresh lemon juice and house-made lemon syrup, then topped every glass with a hand-candied lemon peel and a custom topper featuring their doodle.

The recipe, name, garnish, artwork and presentation were all designed specifically for the couple, because a signature cocktail should feel like part of the wedding, not just another drink at the bar.

That is the level of detail 513Sips brings to every custom cocktail.

This weekend we got to spend our Saturday evening serving drinks for Nick & Kate's wedding at @hopeswaygather -- It was the kind of night that reminds us why we do what we do. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your special day!

513Sips can bring our own bar or serve behind one you already have. Either way, our job is the same: pour good drinks and make hosting effortless, so all you have to do is enjoy being surrounded by the people you love.

Cheers to the Jordans! 🎉
