We — at least the editorial “we” — have not met @537h.00 yet, but we are proper chuffed to do so tomorrow night. Here’s why:

Reason the first: their artistic handle is a riff on their first name, “Seth”. And yet, said handle is properly pronounced “five three seven aych”. Mad choice. Love it.

Reason the second: known more as a producer of high-BPM electronic music than a DJ, 537H’s latest release is “This is not a 537H album. The title references a Fugazi tee-shirt while the cover art rips off “Repeater”. We used to mow the lawn to Fugazi. Love it as well.

Reason the third and most important: they are a serious lover of vinyl records. Their work, in their own words, “contains samples from old records, taking elements from times gone by and recontextulising them.” Will we hear some of those records tomorrow? We don’t know, but we love it.
