On Part 2 Fonzo’s green ’54 Chevy got its rear trunk floor and torque-tube tunnel cut out so the drivetrain can take a full air-ride and step-notch 2-link setup. The original closed-driveline tunnel will be opened and the trunk pan trimmed back far enough to clear the new dropped frame rails, airbags, and trailing links; once that sheetmetal is gone the rear framerails can be boxed, notched, and tied together so the axle tucks up into the step without binding. With the torque tube coming out and the tunnel cleaned up, there will finally be room for the bags, the 2-link bars, and the extra travel the air-ride needs to sit the green Chevy on the ground and still ride when the bags are aired up. Starting a little side hustle. I know some of the big CNC shops around the South Bay and Harbor area will charge you an arm and a leg for a simple small cutout job because of the size of their machines. Now that I’ve got my own CNC table, I can do that work for you at a lower, more reasonable cost. If you need custom metal brackets, signs, cutouts, or odd shapes for your kustom build, hit me up. I can weld them for you, or you can weld them yourself.

Any small custom project you’re working on sheet metal to steel plate, let’s discuss and I’ll do my best to help. This goes out to all you South Bay garage and backyard kustomizers. I’ll be taking small jobs very soon. DM me and let’s get your project done, with Vampire precision! 🦇💥

Ive been getting lots of DM’s about @_coastline_corsos_ 54 Chevy Belair. Be patient, this storm we had, forced me to do some repairs on my gym. I promise I’ll get back on this 2 link, step notch job and have a new video for you.

Do it ourselves! Stay tuned for @_coastline_corsos_ build! We will be cutting this 54 Chevy up… air bags,2 link rear, step notching the frame, cutting/welding the top hats, reinforcing them, as well as the lower control arms and so on and so forth, new brake system, rebuild the inline six (235)….
