Here it is ! Debut for the new 555

Officially had our first hit out for the 25/26 season at @maryboroughspeedway , what night it was packed stadium easily a 2-3 thousand !

Car went good , handled well , just a few small teething issues witch we will sort for December ⚙️

For the season champion points we sit 4th !🏁

None of this would of been done with out the immense help from these good companies

@metalmorphiclaser - Dan and his team can cut steel with a butter knife they are that good ! 🔪 all in house laser cutting and design

@metalink_canopies - Tom and his crew creating custom trays/ tool boxes and near anything that involves bending ally sheet !

@prosignaustralia pete thanks a lot appreciate the last minute install on the car ! Anything sign writing you won’t be disappointed !

Finial push for our frist hit out next weekend at @maryboroughspeedway !

As the season nears we have been busy getting the 555 up to Strength adding 100kgs of weight making the car capable of taking a few hits and nudges,

We have changed the whole suspension set up going off Nz set ups but with these tracks here in Australia it’ll be a gamble being that they don’t slick off as much ,

We fly back to hb this weekend we’re we will be catching up with some guys to have a look at car set ups fingers crossed it transfers to 555 😅

Long time on updates but we are back in the game,

We have picked up the new steed to take us to Queensland titles on the 21 of June @maryboroughspeedway ,

Will be a shot in in the dark , no track time , new car , 2 years between racing and 3x the power 😅 but nothing new really , will get some photos up for ya soon,

Headed out to @94.9_lockyervalleyspeedway with Steve in the 92 to run in the new front end and iron out the car before QLD champs , was a handful at the start few teething issues but over the night sorted it all out so good result came away with a 5th 13 cars all up, few new car made a appearance tonight so numbers have doubled since the start of the season!

As of the 555Q car parts are order up to get the car on the ground and start assembling looking around the 6-7 weeks to have it on ground and close to starting up by @555_bjp_racing

Been a good while between post , busy getting set up here in QLD,life work and the rest ,

Car has had a big chop and cut out nearly just a coffin , have put front end on and started on bumpers chassis’s is on the back burner as we have been more focused on engine last 2-3 months

Engine is nearly completed the 347 should be a absolute screamer

Shocks all sorted fuel system seat , front end arms beams hubs all sorted , just waiting on parts for the winters diff to be on so we can get it on the ground and do the rest of the steel at ride height , aiming to be on track February March taken in Mooloolaba - Sunny Coast by @555_bjp_racing

How good, Race calander is out for the upcoming season , it’s different here in QLD as later on after the official season is completed you can vote todo more races and if you can squeeze into a race night you can run so more races can pop up ,

Looking foward to getting out and running in the new car , been along time in between races 2022 Nz Stockcar champs, being a super stock hopefully not to many laps and I’ll be back into it.

Will post up some photos in the next few weeks.

Aesthetically speaking , ugly , but a few months from now she’ll have a freshened SB Ford V8 back in the engine bay and all the rest of the jazz to go with it ,

Going todo a full off season rebuild ( yet to be numberd ) 🤔

Winters diff getting dummied in new fuel system , engine tidy up , new front beam, hubs stubs , rims chassis tidy up the lot, it’s going to be a busy few months will update once some bench marks have been hit.

Have a few sponsors that have already jumped on board ! Very much appreciated 🤙🏼 will look todo that side of things later once a finished product is on the trailer and to be shown off ,

Hope everyone is getting stuck in over winter and look forward to seeing you guys at the track

This is in Australia FYI, yes Superstocks are in QLD and numbers a small bit growing since the rules have adopted Nz specs and regs more are on the build, taken in Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast by @555_bjp_racing

Long time no dingo..

After the big move to sunny coast a few months ago we were always set on racing here in Australia,

We have picked up the ex 77 Hemi car a lot todo on it to get it to the new rules (NZ SPEC)

Definitely a cool little club over here with engine options are just anything under 6 litres 😁🤙🏼 the to be 5Q is running a stroked 302- to a 347 ford small block v8 , one of my all time favourite engines 🤙🏼

Will post some updates over the next few months will likely hit the track either end of season here in QLD or the start of next, by @555_bjp_racing

Finally some action over here in Australia 🇦🇺

We headed over to @graftonspeedway to check out the Superstocks and how the roll over here as we are looking to debut next season in our own car,

Definitely happy with how it was run all night, we meet the handful of drivers that fronted up , as we all know it’s not at the level of Nz but it’s on the build up and a lot of cars are nearly completed so number will look good come mid season , definitely affordable racing here in oz and parts are abundant being that the rules are not picky at all, cool to see a different style of engine combos ,

As we roll over this race season I’ll update here and there as we start to work towards having something to peddle next season ,

Long time no update!

So after a shocker NZ champs @waikaraka_speedway , practice the car was hooked up good, was inside top 10 in race times, pretty happy considering it was full contact grid start, getting spun every heat decided to just cruises around last heat to say I finished all 3 heats at a champs meeting knowing the car was for sale , but like any anything that was boring had a catch up with a old mate on track and put ourself in the wall going for 10 😅

Still drove on the trailer, thinking I’ll just skip the second night and watch few hours later the 5m car was sold !

We are having a small break and will be looking at car options / class options depending,

Definitely missing the track and all the banter in the pits but having all this rain makes it a little easy knowing I’m not missing too much ! 🤣🤙🏼

Hope too see you guys at the track in the near future!

So go out and support you’re local track as every club needs a bit of help due to this dam weather this summer !
