We were honoured to welcome @mayoroliviachow and Deputy Mayor @cllrainslie to 5N2.

Their visit gave us the opportunity to showcase our hydroponic farms and share more about our work in food access and community care.

It was meaningful to speak with them about how this work can grow in a sustainable way and serve even more people.

Thank you, Mayor Chow and Deputy Mayor Ainslie, for your time, interest, and support.

Last week, our #PTCanada team spent time volunteering with @5n2.ca helping support their mission to provide meals and resources to individuals and families in the community. ❤️

Giving back goes beyond volunteering. In addition to lending a hand, several of our team members donated items to support 5N2 and the important work they do throughout the community.

We're grateful for opportunities like these to work alongside an incredible organization and make a meaningful impact together.

Meet the people behind Scarborough’s community meals.

That includes Carol, Marie, Yasmin, Ann Marie, and many other volunteers cooking and delivering food to people in need through 5N2.

NOURISH No. 04 goes inside our kitchen and hydroponic growing facility, looks back at March 8’s volunteer story, and revisits what an earlier visit from Mayor @oliviachow and Deputy Mayor @cllrainslie brought into focus: the everyday work behind community food access.

Swipe to meet the people behind the meals. Share this issue with someone who cares about food security, and follow @5n2.ca for the next chapter. taken in Scarborough by @5n2.ca

@5n2.ca is a non-profit kitchen and community pantry, providing fresh food and various staples to Scarborough residents. As a cornerstone of the Scarborough community, it is one of our trusted distribution partners.

GlobalMedic and 5n2 recently collaborated to distribute over 20,000 bottles of children's ibuprofen, pediatric drops, and other over-the-counter medications to local families and individuals in need. As prices for non-prescription drugs continue to rise, it is particularly important to ensure that low-income seniors, children, and immunocompromised people have the resources to protect themselves from illness and infection.

Thank you to 5n2 for your partnership and your dedicated work on behalf of Scarborough residents. by @5n2.ca
