Every day, you may damage your watch without even knowing it. These small habits protect what matters most: the look and the movement. 1. Lay it on its side when you take it off, it helps protect the crystal and keeps the case stable. 2. If it stopped after a pause, don’t hit it, gently shake it to start the movement. 3. Don’t turn the crown counter-clockwise, turn it in the correct direction to avoid extra stress inside. 4. Don’t leave the crown loose, always screw it down fully to protect from dust and moisture. 5. Don’t wind it on the wrist, wind it off the wrist to keep the crown aligned and reduce pressure on the stem. Save this for later and share it with someone who wears a watch every day. by @5pmtek
