🚨🍊 NEW PROGRAM DIRECTOR ALERT 🍊🚨

We are thrilled to announce and welcome our new Program Director, Meaghan Tyrrell, to the 5 POINTS team!

On the field, Meg is one of the best to ever play the game. By the time she finished her illustrious career @cusewlax in 2023, Meg was a three time 1st team All American attacker, two time Tewaarton Award finalist, 1st team All ACC attacker and ACC attacker of the year! She played on Team USA in the World Games in 2022 and landed at 6th all time in Division 1 points with 415! Meg has trained athletes and teams up and down the East Coast since 2016 and most recently as the Director of Player and Program Development at Yellow Jackets.

Meg will have her hands in all facets of the program, including working with our front office team, refining our recruiting program and organizing special events for the lacrosse community in the 5 boroughs. She will be working closely with our coaching staff, continuing to define our norms and establish how we will honor, teach, and ultimately play the game that we love. We cannot be more excited to have Meg on the team, helping to lead us into the next chapter of growth for 5 POINTS and NYC lacrosse!! taken in NYC by @5pointslacrosse

A massive THANK YOU to our former Program Director @jdingler for all of her hard work and dedication to @5pointslacrosse over the past few years.

Since Fall of 2023 when we ambitiously started this program, Jenna juggled the heavy demands of being a club director with us while coaching a D1 program. She has been critical in developing our curriculum and ushering our growth as a program from one HS combo team with 17 players in 2023 to six teams from 2027-2035's currently (and in our opinion, providing the best lacrosse experience in NYC)!

Our players and program have undoubtedly benefitted from having Jenna on our sidelines and we wish her luck in the next phase of her career in a new region.

We are excited about the future of @5pointslacrosse and we thank you, @jdingler for helping to lay the foundation! taken in New York City by @5pointslacrosse

LOVE seeing all these @5pointslacrosse girls on the field together at the @brooklyntechlacrosse vs @midwoodvarsglax game today! (Missing Pearl, @maitesimian and @nicooviolaa!)

Tech with the 14-7 W

A big reason that we started 5P is for girls across the city to form friendships and not just be competitors during the school season. We are all part of the same tribe in the 5 boroughs so we need strength in numbers if we’re going to make noise on the bigger stage. We don’t care what jersey you wear in the spring, if you’ve got a metro card, you’re on the #hometeam!
