5 DAYS AWAY ‼️🚨This is my very raw, very unfiltered attempt at promoting myself… something I’m admittedly terrible at. 😂 So bear with me.

I’m incredibly honored to share that a collaborative self-portrait created by Priscilla and I has been selected by The Holy Art Collective for their exhibition at Mriya Gallery in Tribeca.

This photograph is more than a portrait it’s a reflection of trust, vulnerability, friendship, and collaboration. While the work speaks to my journey, it simply would not exist without Priscilla’s generosity, and willingness to help bring it to life. What began as a creative collaboration became an image that now carries a deeply personal chapter of my story.

This moment also belongs to the community that has held me through every season. To my chosen family, my friends, and everyone who has loved and supported me as an artist and throughout my transition: thank you. Your encouragement has given me the courage to continue creating work that is honest, vulnerable, and rooted in who I am becoming.

Having this work exhibited in New York feels incredibly meaningful, and I’d love to celebrate this milestone with all of you.

Third T shot in the books. 💉🏳️‍⚧️

As all of us New Yorkers recover from what felt like the best weekend of our lives, I’ve been sitting with a lot of gratitude.

To be queer.
To be trans.
To be Puerto Rican.
To be a New Yorker.

This Pride feels different. I’m moving through my transition during a season filled with joy, community, visibility, and possibility. From Pride celebrations, to the Puerto Rican Day Parade, to the energy taking over the city, I’ve been reminded how beautiful it is to take up space as my authentic self.

Here’s to becoming, to thriving, and to all the festivities still to come.

I hope everyone is taking care of themselves, finding moments of joy, and continuing to grow into exactly who they’re meant to be. ❤️🩵🤍🩵❤️

This is my second testosterone shot.
A lot of people have asked why I’m choosing to transition at 30, and honestly, the answer has been years in the making. Back in 2016, I came out as non-binary. That was the first time I gave myself permission to explore who I was beyond the expectations placed on me. Then in 2023 and 2024, I used my artwork to raise funds for top surgery. I thought that might be the final piece of my journey. And for a while, it was enough. But even after surgery, I still felt something. Not regret. Not uncertainty. Just a deeper understanding of myself. I still felt a pull toward a more masculine version of me.This year, during NYC Pride, I started testosterone.
And strangely enough, part of what helped me get here was caregiving.
For the last few years, I’ve been caring for my great-grandmother, who turns 98 this month. Watching someone move through the later chapters of life has made me think differently about my own.
It’s reminded me that life is short, and that the version of yourself you’ve been imagining deserves a chance to exist.So this isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming more of who I’ve always been.And that’s what T on T is about.
It’s about beginning a transmasculine transition at 30.It’s about being a multidisciplinary artist while navigating change in real time.
It’s about caring for my 98 year old great grandmother while learning what it means to care for myself.
It’s about legacy, aging, and the courage to step into the life you’ve imagined for yourself.
And it’s about documenting Black trans experiences through art, storytelling, and community.
So whether you’re here for the transition, the artwork, the caregiving journey, or the conversations in between

welcome.

Hello, my name is T. I am a trans, nonbinary multidisciplinary artist located in New York City.

I took a year to heal , not to disappear, but to evolve.

Now I’m stepping back into my practice with sharpened vision, deeper intention, and a commitment to expanding my artistry beyond what it has been.
